      Like you "Rory Da Nutty Squirrel", I would love to come and do an excavation but I also live on the other side of the world in the French Alps. And a big thank you to you "The Crystal Collector" for your excellent videos. I've been following you for years now and it made me want to do like you. I have created some modest prospecting videos on my channel. I prospect in the French Alps and we rarely find large specimens here. But what a pleasure to find your natural gems. Thank you again and keep making us dream.

    For a 9 minute video there was a lot happening. Guy going on a dig up a mountain in sandals, someone has had a haircut, looks good btw, Matrix nearly getting taken out by a rock, that was so damn close to his little legs. Finding some gorgeous crystals and everyone having a great time👍👍 well worth watching this and all of the videos on your channel, keep up the great work and stay safe out there 😊

    Those were great finds! Never knew such large garnets could form next to black tourmaline! I’ve dug up tourmaline in San Diego & garnets in North Carolina, but nothing of this scale! Those were some great picture taking opportunities of Matrix, too. I’m glad he didn’t get hurt & It’s so cute to see him making buddies, too, along your journeys together! Stay well my friend!

    Your friends Thumb ring really blew me away, I can't tell if it's one of those wire wraps or not but it caught my eye really well. My Father mined up a tourmaline this large out in South Dakota many years ago, he was the only one to do so on a whole class field trip. A friend of his dropped it and it broke into 4. It's a good thing I know where I can find that many more as it's almost his birthday, and I've been looking forward to a crystal trip.

    I don't remember ever seeing black tourmaline before Bryan, they seem fragile and is that usual please? Matrix and friends were so tired after all the running about and climbing, I think I would have needed a sleep too lol. They were not easy to remove from the rocks but the first two were very large, and the garnets looked very dark, I had trouble trying to tell the difference (though that could be because I need new glasses lol). I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next sweetheart, take care and stay safe please my friend, love and hugs to you and Matrix Mary-Ellen UK

    • @TheCrystalCollector
      @TheCrystalCollector  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes these were fragile as they were in a decaying process, if we could split that rock and get deeper they would likely in better condition. That would be too much work 😆

I like them because they are always in a different spot, with different and special minerals. one time its wavelite, on time its selenite, one time its garnet, quartz geodes, tourmaline, and you know, the list keeps going on, these are just the latest. so thanks for making the best content ever and please keep doing so.
