I found one of the crystals that's hidden at the " mystery park " at the end of this video. I left the other 2 crystals so that someone else can enjoy a treasure hunt !
The topaz are beautiful and hiding the crystals is a wonderful idea Bryan. I like the puff of dust when the blast goes off, it must be a great experience to be there. The breaking down of the rocks looks like hard work, I was happy you gave the gentleman a huge hammer to break it up, the small one wouldn't do it as well lol. Take care and stay safe please my friend, God bless you and Matrix, love and hugs to you both Mary-Ellen UK
Yes this was such a fun time, everyone was finding lots of stuff and the blast is very exciting! Even for matrix, it doesn’t scare him but he gets really excited when the horn goes off in any blast happens. He was born during the spring time last year and a lot of thunderstorms are happening when he was a baby so I guess he got used to the large burst of sounds young so it doesn’t bother him. So is that package still not arrived? I need to look back at the tracking and see what’s up, I know with Covid and stuff it may have caused delays
@@TheCrystalCollector I told you the last time you asked that yes it did arrive thank you and I sent an email the same day it arrived Bryan. Terry and I had so much fun unwrapping them all and he is as thrilled as I am with them. Thank you again sweetheart, and I can understand why Matrix isn't bothered by the explosions now bless him. Love and hugs to you both Mary-Ellen UK
those topaz crystals are so beautiful. what a glorious day everyone had. looks like great time for sure. thanks for letting us all come along with you!
Thank you for sharing another cool video. Beautiful topaz specimens indeed. Liked your way of giving away some nice looking crystals towards the end, cool and fun you created for your viewers.

Good morning from Greece, congratulations on the beautiful video!! Very beautiful topaz crystals!! Keep up the good work, my friend!! This is a very nice move with the quartz and well done!!

Oh....and by the way....I have been to and dug at Topaz Mountain myself years ago. However, my dig was not as successful as the one y'all had in this video! One of my favorite jewelry pieces was a necklace a friend sent crystal glows like a little sun. Thanks for video I live watching them. Here in NC I'm always hunting lol I need bigger house have fun.
I just have to say this- I watch these and enjoy this your channel (going to be a supporter soon) mostly for my Sons. Too young to do this just yet. I'm a geologist by training myself, mostly into fossils- HOWEVER; I have to.. HAVE TO get in one of these sometime because OMG the Junipers and pines! Yes, I"m a bonsai artist, and I am seeing spectacular plants int he background of this entire video! I would kill or die to get out there, and while you guys are popping crystals (sure, i'll help!) , I'd be removing a juniper to take home!

Heck, as an avid crystal collector myself, It would be amazing to find a beautiful crystal hidden somewhere! This is so cool of you. Fantastic Topaz. My youngest son and I would love to come hunting with you sometime, when international travel and the pandemic are over, of course. Shame we can't join the crystal hunt, unless you plant some over the pond in England. :-) Great video, thank you.
For sure, in the future I am going to start planning some big event digs at several locations across the country and have them will set ahead of time for people that want to travel and make it, thanks for the support!
They blast out fresh material all the time, and the cool part is every boulder you see in that video has a high chance of containing crystals inside. You split the rocks and find the crystals in the vugs that are inside, so there will always be topaz to be found.
Dangummit!!!! I’m from Anderson SC and know exactly where this is!!! I am actually about to move back for the winter soon so hopefully at least one will still be there 🙏🏼😁🤞🏼🤩
I have some spots in Riverside county that are visited by very few people. I find schorl, tourmalinated smoky quartz ( some with gemmy green), garnets reddish browns and green grossulars, epidote and petrified wood. The smoky I find has the snow on the roof and crazy colors on the faces of the crystals. It's not the prism or a stain it's a thin layer of color on the crystal. Anyhow keep on hunting dude! Hmu sometime lol

@@TheCrystalCollector ha, no, on crystal coast in NC RVing on Camp Lejuene base, I found where the park is and your town. Mamma didn't want to break down the RV and haul butt! Retired Intel can find you! Ha
The topaz in that mountain range is inside of rhyolite that is between 1 million and 6 million years old (the one in this video are from the 1 million year old material). The rhyolite is volcanic and forms when magma makes it to the surface and cools very quickly. It leaves a very grainy rock with microscopic crystals of many different minerals because the minerals don't have time to organize themselves into bigger chunks like slower-cooling rocks would. And due to that rapid cooling air bubbles also form in the rock and are "frozen" there. After the rock has solidified, hot silica-rich steam bubbles up through the cracks and deposits other minerals inside the small bubble-shaped pockets, called vugs. The most common mineral in this spot is, of course, topaz. So the crystals slowly grow inside open space in the vugs, which is exactly where you find them when you split the rocks like you see in the video.
