Interesting, definitely sounds nicer. I went to slightly different route with my 2020 Nissan kicks that made an enormous difference. I removed a little bit of the plastic above the grill, that was preventing more air from coming into the engine bay, then I took out the resonator and airbox was left with a huge hole and a tube coming off the engine. Installed an adapter for the mass air flow sensor, then install a K&N cone filter, put a bracket for a little bit of support. Basically a DIY Ram air intake. The air filter is almost right in front of the grill, I'm not blowing any Corvettes away off the line but, much more power, Better Sound and a little bit better gas mileage, it even runs cooler. In my car I think it's making such a big difference because the stock setup was just that bad.
The mazda content that we all needed

That's awesome.
Sounds a whole lot better. I was wondering if I could do it without removing the front bumper. So excited to do this thank you!
You can! Just remove the screws holding the left fender liner to the front bumper and it's easily accessible.
Great info man!!
Great video!!
what about exhaust note did it make any difference?
Not really.
