He was wrong about the IITs. They weren't instituted for just IT education. India always had diverse industries, just that post 1992 they became more well known. We were manufacturing industrial goods and automobiles way before IT came. This is what self taught Googler economists don't realise. It's not always IT

Next 3 year as he said is gonna be very very hard for Pakistan.....
Reforms and self introspection is only gonna work everything else is just chatter.....
If this boat is missed then pakistan won't be able to compete in the world market.....
From 2025 world economies gonna get very nationalistic and immigration would be very much limited in west....
South America and Africa as a continent is gonna take huge shifts in socio- economic sectors ....
Recovery from a Default is a miracle in itself and miracles don't happen easily.....
Pakistanis are losing the most precious thing every day TIME, by not taking immediate strict decisions.

It was good talk particularly on startups. That made me look at it differently. Though, not seeing the visible potholes in front of Pakistan's governance and still hoping that this is a temporary phase is just too unrealistic, a myopic view. As things stand today, there is no dissent allowed.
Muzamil's idea of encouraging the exodus is good and bad both. If no intelligentsia is left behind to change the political discourse, nothing will change. The dissent rises in those who are capable of analysing or able to see injustice. So, if majority of talent leave, no capable talent will be left at home to be able to mobilise others to change the national course. Ideally those who can see it from vantage point lead the change. But these are usually those who have comeback from abroad as they can now see a better solution to improve their situation at home. They know that they don't have to tolerate existing situation any longer.

I really pray that Pakistan Recover from corruption and become stable which is very hard but nothing is impossible for Allah. I'm really glad my grandfather Revoked pakistan citizenship because my grandfather saw the true leadership of Sheikh zayed (May allah bless his soul) and sheikh zayed have considered us their own children. My grandfather was so poor that he requested pakistan government for help and they didn't bother about it whereas UAE government gave my grandfather job and houses when he migrated to the UAE. And imp really happy to see that pakistani are coming to my country to help and contribute and their own country pakistan. May Allah give them blessing and peace.

Re: Suggestions for solar agency and market opening hours............ Instead of pushing markets to close earlier (in hot countries like Spain, they sleep during day for few hours and open from 5pm till late night). Why not allow markets that are run on solar energy (with batteries to save that for late night power) to remain open till midnight? It will incentivize most businesses to switch to solar energy.... We also need business activity for supporting the economy, not closing down everything earlier!

Will he be okay if that poor child he met in a rural school one day started a podcast with the same guests or moved in as his neighbour? The issue is these burgers think everything is easy and they should dictate how others lead their life.

Just a talk shop. No substance, he is just running away to make some decent money in Dubai. It is obvious the TH-cam pay rate is more in Dubai. He is just throwing around fancy words like 5G, metaverse, AI. Pakistan is full of youtube podcasters dependent on Indian viewers. Building a genuine economy needs a lot of hard work over decades. Without a good education system and getting rid of the religious bigotry Pakistan is going nowhere. It will end up as a failed state.

People who are saying Muzamil is just talking nonsense are not even trying to understand what he's saying and criticizing just because they want to.
Our economy is in a deadlock situation. One can easily say, you have to improve your exports and that's the only way to progress. But with factories closing, energy shortage and hyper-inflation - you can't really improve exports without the help of foreign currency coming in. Remember, our debt is in dollars and not in rupees. We want the dollars inflow in all cases and can't just blindly talk about patriotism and staying in Pakistan. In my opinion, in every house where there are more than 3 siblings, 1 must try to find a job abroad while rest of them can work in Pakistan to maintain a healthy balance.
For the Indians who are bashing him - I live in middle-east and I see big organizations moving operations or getting work done from India as much as possible for those companies. The companies are not even Indian but the Indians outsourcing the work to India because they are in managerial positions. Khud sab kuch karna hai but wohi cheez koi aur karega to aag lag rahi because competition jo barh jayega.
Anyways, I'm not anti-India and neither do Pakistanis who work in middleeast. Our people fight only while they are sitting in India/Pakistan. In abroad, they live like besties.

Wrong! People buying swanky cars is not on Pakistani diaspora but external borrowings from various sources. Motorways, Infrastructure in Lahore, Karachi is built on Loans. Unless you realise you need to earn dollars and not borrow all the time, it is impossible to come out of the mess. You need to sell commodities that doesn’t require imports such as Tourism, Skill selling (IT, BPO), Be a conduit for energy supply from Central Asia to China, India. But to do that Pakistan needs to maintain peace both internally and externally. She needs to understand cooperation and not fighting is the essence.

TCS is the largest IT Services in the world, they recruit freshers like 1L per year. Bcz of TCS TATAs have perennial source of profit 1.5 Billion $ every quarter, which they invest into other companies. Ppl should understand that IT services is hard to do, even Ambani couldn't have one of these companies successfully yet.

Indian expat ceos are in charge due to geopolitics and new world system reset, not really about being Indian but promoting diversity in business.
