Now that Pakistan economy is at the bottom, they are concerned about Indian Culture, History, friendship n trade between India Pakistan.... 6:01 1. Unknowingly Shezad is correct, the music of Bedari is a lift / inspiration from Jagriti the composer surprise surprise is by Fateh Ali Khan the father of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. 2. Jagriti was from 1954 & Bedari is from 1956. Both are identical stories, scene for scene practically Few actors are the same: The lead boy Ratan Kumar or Syed Nazir are same. The teacher in both Sanotsh Kumar or Syed Musa are same. Another fact both these lead actors kept their Hindu screen names even in the credits of Pakistani film Bedari. 3. There are three identical songs in both films with slight changes to suit the location of Pakistan. 4. Syed Nazir later left for studies to Germany, then after his daughter's tragic death, moved to California to never ever return to Pakistan he expired 6 years ago. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

SANJAY'sknowledge of HINDI films is somewhat warped. The two songs that he mentioned were from a 1955 film called JAGRITI. This was a blockbuster, and, the songs that he mentioned were penned by the legendary Hindi poet KAVI PRADEEP.For Sanjay's knowledge,it was PRADEEP who penned AI MERE WATAN KE LOGON. PRADEEP lived and died happily in India.Yes,the child hero of JAGRITI,RATAN KUMAR,who was a Muslim from Ajmer, did migrate to PAKISTAN,and, lived unhappily thereafter. He migrated to the US eventually. The songs that SANJAY mentioned were plagiarised for a Pakistani film, with the altered words and same tune.
Well said . And Irony is that when Aye mere watan ke logo was launched in delhi after 1962 war defeat . When Nehru cried that time kavi Pradeep was not even invited to the program.

Never caused pollution? No, mate, you don't have data to support that. Even if the negative effects back in Indus Valley days were minimal, the population growth and frequency of activities do not justify holding such rites and polluting the river (even if the major contribution is from tanneries). Surely we can adapt to the times, can we not?

Now, nobody remembers it, and it will be completely forgotten in the next 2-3 generations." but what can we say or do it is what it is but i was fortunate enough to be present when my great-grandfather was alive

Just for clarification- The word INDIA has been mentioned as a fairly recent context. And when I say recent it is only a few hundred years old. Whereas the word BHARAT is quiet ancient. It's orgin lies is Rig Veda, the ancient Vedic scripture estimate to have written about 3000 years old by some Indian/western historians. The scripture says the word BHARATVARSHA which means the land that is South of the Himalayas. Bharatvarsha was hence also the land of Saptasindhu or 7 rivers that includes now extinct Sarasvati. Calling INDIA, BHARAT was done with 2 purposes- 1. Political 2. Cultural. It resonates with the BJP's stated intention to reclaim the civilizational heritage.
They made contributions, although they did not provide us with the Metro train or expressways. Despite this, we now have both, along with many other developments. However, it's important to note that they did extract resources from our region.
Incorrect title. Example of a correct title would be: *Is Pakistan interested in reclaiming it’s civilisational roots?* Why is the title incorrect? Because ‘sharing of culture’ is a phrase more apt for distinct civilisations that have some common areas. Example of that would be Indian and Persian. No matter how far back one goes in history, this would be true for India and Persia. On the other hand, at any date before August 14, 1947, there was no Pakistani civilisation. There still isn’t any Pakistani civilisation. What one has is a nation state called Pakistan. If Pakistanis still get confused between civilisation and nation-state, it is because they have rejected their civilisational roots. This discussion is therefore, meaningless, as it’s starting assumption is faulty.

One of the most interesting thing I observed is that what Mr. Amir Mughal is saying (like Dharam shalas, gau shalas, shared heritage of Pakistan with India), that is opposed tooth and nail in India by likes of Sanjay Rajoura and Mani Shankar Aiyer. Nope, hmm...majority of Hindus do not eat beef that is against Dharma. Majority of Hindus put Brahmavad over intutiton and books.
Is it though my friend? Then how come your "muslim" state has always had corrupt leadership, 1965 ki betuki war, East Pakistan ky sath itny zulm ky the fucking majority of your country left you and the eradication of minorities and violation of civil rights? You think this is Pakistan? Bro Pakistan was created because we had the majority of muslim population in Bengal, this isnt Pakistan... Pakistan left us in 1971 and became Bangladesh.
Now that Pakistan economy is at the bottom, they are concerned about Indian Culture, History, friendship n trade between India Pakistan.... Had the situation been reversed n India was on its bottom, half of our territory including Kashmir n Punjab would have been captured by Pakistan by now n these Pakistanis would have been justifying it .

Nowadays these Pakistanis are trying to become Hindustani because no money, Once money starts coming these Pakistanis will become Gohri Gazi & start sending te®®0®ists inside india, Best possible thing is break pakistan into 4 pieces or keep pakistan in Beggers level
Nobody here concerned about same culture or friendship with India. Its only in podcasts😂
I don't understand why Pakistanis talk about shared culture and heritage, we were literally the same people, you got your country based on your religion that was the only difference back then. Why is it a big surprise that we have shared culture launguage?! Correct me on this, i think its the propaganda that's been taught that Pakistan is different from rest.
Also I dont understand the glorification of invaders like Ghazni, Qasim etc. in Pakistan ,hey literally r*ped k*lled your ancestors. You may like it or not thats the fact !!
The talk has only now begin because they r failing and India is successful.
//we were literally the same people//
"Were" being the operative word. We are definitely not the same anymore. Time to move on. There is nothing to be gained from reminiscing about days past.
In India also there is glorification of Brahmavad who killed and raped Hindus.
Intriguing podcast. Mr. Mughal is indeed an ocean of knowledge. Loved your podcast to the brim.

Both are identical stories, scene for scene practically
Few actors are the same:
The lead boy Ratan Kumar or Syed Nazir are same.

Talking about partition violence should start with Jinnah 's call for ", direct action day" - state condoned massacre of Hindus in Calcutta, followed by massacre of Sikhs in and around Rawalpindi, then poonch and muzaffarabaad.

Sanjay’s knowledge of a lot of things is warped. And his above it all attitude is cringe if not stupid
Well said . And Irony is that when Aye mere watan ke logo was launched in delhi after 1962 war defeat . When Nehru cried that time kavi Pradeep was not even invited to the program.

the cleanest river in India is Umngot river in meghalaya , chambal is the second cleanest. the reason being absence of industries like leather and thermal power plants near it. the religious rituals in india has been going on since indus valley but never caused pollution. the supreme court in MC MEHTA VS UNION OF INDIA cited leather industries of kanpur city for pollution of Ganga river. please get your facts rights.
Sanjay R cannot be relied upon for fact checking. He says something as stupid as capitalism pollutes rivers.
"My maternal family migrated from Jhang, and my great-grandfather was 24 years old at the time of partition. Until his death, he used to talk about the good old times and his childhood. It was so sad to see him reminiscing about his childhood friends, etc. However, with his passing, the true connection that my family had to its original homeland has also ended. Now, nobody remembers it, and it will be completely forgotten in the next 2-3 generations." but what can we say or do it is what it is but i was fortunate enough to be present when my great-grandfather was alive
Jhang is my hometown, since many generations, sad sad stories.
Our memories lie to us all the time and exaggerate things. I grew up in small town of India, have been living overseas for 25 years now. My parents are still in that city and go visit once a year. The place doesn’t hold any value for me anymore, just my parents do and I don’t miss anything. Your grandfather wouldn’t have found the place so exciting even if he went back.
Very true. The biggest challenge is global warming. In Mumbai since last 10 yrs the monsoon rain do not arrive with monsoon winds ( the way it should) at the outset but simply it pours. It is not monsoon, but it is a cloud burst. Only good part is that cloud burst are happening during monsoon period but for how long is anybody's guess.

We Indians never forget 26/11 attack
They made contributions, although they did not provide us with the Metro train or expressways. Despite this, we now have both, along with many other developments. However, it's important to note that they did extract resources from our region.
Incorrect title. Example of a correct title would be: *Is Pakistan interested in reclaiming it’s civilisational roots?*
Why is the title incorrect?
Much power to Rajoura. Great show!
