    My 07 at 209000k miles is doing the same thing, so this pretty much confirms my suspensions. Now I need to change the clips for the coil packs that are on the verge of disintegrating and.... ugh, the engine mounts.

      @@TheImprovisationCenter I'll be honest, I'm probably going to get a shop to tackle that one.

    What is the thermometer that you installed? Very interested in this "failsafe."

      I hadn't looked at it but it seems like 190 is always the magic number...

      Sorry, who made the thermostat that you used to replace the old one?

    I had a map sensor problem sense I ran over my mud gourd and with time and rain it keep blowing out my sensor do to the intake tube is right on top of the driver side tire and it blew my coil #4 replaced all of those items and now I take it on long drives with no issue the only thing I got is my 5th keeps popping out at 55 mph any ideas what can it be it’s not the tranny I smash it just holding it with no problem

      A lot of times there's something inside the transmission that may have broken that normally holds the shifter gear piece in place that can cause a shifter to jump out. Only other thing I can think of is the shifter box has excessive play that's causing it to not fully engage, like bushings in the linkages are bad. I'd start with the shifter and the linkages going to the transmission to see if anything is worn or excessively loose.

    Sounds like the fans are not working.

    Why are both gaskets missing from your car?

    • @TheImprovisationCenter
      @TheImprovisationCenter  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's only the o-ring gasket on the thermostat that seals the housing/block junction. Nothing for the housing itself. The old thermostat's o-ring gasket disintegrated and clogged the core part.

      Got to make sure all scale and stuff is scraped from the housing cavity. Might be fragments present keeping it from seating
