I seen GnR live back in '92 at Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney Australia. At the time it was the biggest concert ever held here. 100,000 punters turned up. GnR arrived late and turned up in a helicopter flying over the crowd with the search light flashing over us. 100,000 Aussies chanting GUNS.....AND.....ROSES. Chopper lands, they go straight on stage and well, basically what you just watched is what we were treated to for over an hour. Man, what a fucking night to remember, all the chicks were smoking hot, all the support bands were awesome (Rose Tattoo, Skid Row) , all my mates with me....Almost brings a tear to my eye just remembering...
The energy is crazy. And at 5:20 it even gets wild, snowball effect, the band the crowd ...god i love this so much. I've seen this footage a 1000 times and never get enough. GnR has been the love of my life, ever since the 80s.

Matt is a technical master on the drums. On the other hand I can’t help but feel like somethings missing when Stevens not playing the appetite songs he just had this wildness dangerous rock ‘n’ roll sound the feeling is just different with out him? Same without Izzy on rhythm guitar....
I’m easily responsible for at least 500 plays on here. No joke, almost daily for years. GREATEST BAND EVER, and most tragic to have broke it all apart at the pinnacle of it all. Even Slash said it, his biggest regret of his life is breaking something that big apart at the level they were at. As a massive fan, this performance is perfect in every way It's also great to hear Axl's voice so clean as we know this is usually the last song of any GN'R gig ( usually his vocal cords are well-fuked come the end of the show ) here it's just so powerful!

Olhando o presente em comparação ao passado, parece que o rock morreu na década de 90. Hoje só ouvimos bandas que aproveitam os sucessos de outras bandas. Não tem como não sentir uma emoção foda ouvindo Guns dessa época. Era algo surreal. Fui no show de retorno em 2016, Rio de Janeiro. Cara, foi o melhor show da minha vida, mas se estivessem presentes essa raiva toda no palco, não imagino como teria ficado o Engenhão depois disso. Mas foi um show foda demais. Curti a moda antiga, forçado pelo meu celular que descarregou depois de 4 músicas. Então não tive escolha que não fosse aproveitar ao máximo daquela experiência. FOI FODA!
Best version of Paradise City. Axl's voice was perfect, Slash is on fire, Duff perfect as always, Matt N' Gilby are fuckin' amazing, same to Dizzy, Teddy, Tracy and Roberta, and Anne, Lisa and Cece even if the last three weren't at this concert. 91-93 was the best years of GN'R, best line up.
We were there that day at Freddys tribute, Guns N Roses were amazing as were all the other bands and mixtures of stars playing together, just think Metallica opened the show and it was fucking amazing and the day just got better and better, Slash joined Queen later in the night for a great version of Tie Your Mother Down, Slash sang with Elton and they day was just awesome...we lived as students on our OE about 30 min walk north of Wembley Stadium and had such great times at these concerts, GNR came back next year on their own tour and it was brilliant..great memories..GNR rocked that day... so good

I went to a Motley Crue concert in the fall of 1987. They had this band opening that none of us had even heard of. Remember, no internet back then. They had about 40 minutes on stage as the Crue's opening band. After that 40 or so minutes, we all knew their name. It was Guns n Roses and they had a debut album out that none of us had. Album was titled Appetite for Destruction. Original 5 guys. Duff, Slash, Axl, Izzy, Steven. Just them. No one else on stage. This is a great performance by GnR, but you can see the excesses already that were going to destroy the band. Izzy had already left. Steven was kicked out. I knew it was imploding back then when I saw back up singers and a piano on stage with them. Nuf said. Peace.
