I'm not sure how his voice deteriorated, but I don't think it's impossible for him to get a lot of it back, or maybe even all of it or close. I think that really depends largely on Axl. I remember being at dead & company shows listening to Bob Weir sing at nowhere near his original capacity. He's old but he stays in shape and eats healthy and stuff, I think he smokes cigarettes though. It would get reported if he was smoking or not, and it did seem to correlate to his better performances when he wasn't smoking. 😁

Axl is a really handsome man and a really clever singer. He has a wonderful voice, a wonderful way to sing and to move. The songs of Guns n' Roses and their musics are also fine!!!

The use your illusion tours are an insane undertaking even for a well routined band! And guns n Roses did it with lineup changes and copious amounts of alcohol and drugs 😅
They already had one foot in things to come both music and attitude-wise. Except maybe for the very first era of the band, they never were a part of the 80s hard rock carousel.
Many great things, bands and songs came when grunge hit big - Nirvana, Soundgarden, etc…. But None of those bands at their peak could touch GnR. 92 / 93 when most of the 80’s glam bands have faded, and Grunge was at their most popular point - even then GnR was still the no. 1 band worldwide, only Metallica came close. Original Grunge wave was very short lived , was done by 94- it’s impact has been exaggerated in revisionist history -but is rarely acknowledged that Grunge and 90’sAlternative rock, also were one of the reasons hard rock music started to disappear from the mainstream taste to what it is today- the genre over saturated very quickly with too many bland bands singing how much they hated themselves and how sad they were sounding more and more pop and soft as the decade progressed.
I think 'Its So Easy' is probably one of my favorites. The opening guitar leading up to Axl singing the first line is like a heard of elephants stampeding over all the other bullshit pop music prevalent circa 87' until present. His 5 range octave shits all over 99% of rock vocalists.
To sing like that is one thing, to sing like that whilst running around is another story. Being a great singer doesn't necessarily make u a great frontman.
I'm agree with u, only that Axl will kick our asses argumenting that should be a law with no possible rejecting at all, and being a matter of facts that "His Majesty Freddy Mercury" should be accept as THE BEST VOICE IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC not only rock and roll, but in general.
