    I am a licensed stylist and can get OPI at professional cost and By Bible bath is a “must have”! I do gel method and use SOME OPI powders because they ARE amazing❣️They don’t have a crazy variety of colors and very little glitters and no foils. The powders are mainly used by techs for acrylic nails. I love seeing this review and you will use ALL of Bubble Bath, girlfriend!

    To be honest. I’m so glad someone is doing videos on these. I’ve bought so many affordable kits where I didn’t like some colors. Or it was grainy. I’ve been eyeing opi dip for months. For all the money I’ve spent. I could’ve got a full kit and two colors. Which I still will. Big apple red. And let’s be friends I’m GRABBING. Strawberry Margarita and OPI Red are my favorites of all time. Love that Beyond Polish will do business with us diyers. I have Sparkle and Co liquids though I think after using them a while back I had some issues resembling dip flu. Then I tried Color My World liquids with success. Also used gel liquids with dip, but have become leery of gel exposure. I have taken a pause from doing nails at all recently due to lifting problems. I always thought I did a good job with prepping. Can’t seem to figure out what I need to change. Thanks for the review of OPI. Thinking of giving it a try.

    Wow this is crazy I was thinking about opi dip system, only because the nail polish would last the longest on my nails when I was single and had less chores to do. So I was Thinking the dip system must be great! But yes it is pricey. Hands down the bubble bath color I already have the gel it’s perfect on its own or with French manicure. It worth getting OPi clear dip powder that’s what I use right now to build strength or just to encapsulate.

    Thank you so very much for this! Beyond Polish just got a new customer thanks to you.
    I first got into gel nail polish from the OPI kit that they sold thru Sephora. I was beyond pissed when they discontinued the retail sales. Then, I happened upon sales of the OPI gel polishes on Groupon and would purchase there until they also disappeared.
    I have been dying to try dip powders and really, really wanted to do so with OPI but, couldn't find them in retail anywhere. Finally, just broke down and got the Nailboo kit that I have yet to try.
    I have never been very good at doing nails so OPI gel polishes have been great for me. I just wanted to stick with what I knew as far as trying dip. Now, thanks to you, I can at least get some OPI dip powders and build a little OPI dip kit as well.
    I don't understand why OPI ceded the retail market. I will never go to a nail salon. That's just me and there are plenty like me. Just like there are plenty of people that would never do there own nails if they can get to a nail salon. When I think about the amount of money they have basically given to other nail companies...🤯. Why not serve all of us OPI?!

    I have very short bitten nails. Is dip powder with tips or builder gel with tips the best way to grow out my nails? Half cover tips Or full cover tips ?

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s totally personal preference ultimately! I apply dip powder directly on my natural nails. I love the strength that it provides so my natural nails can grow. Whenever I played with tips and full coverage extensions I found both to have pros and cons but if I had to pick I’d say full coverage. I would just try to find extensions that work for your nails. For example, some have a high arch which is great for curved nails but if you have flat nails I’d look into flatter full coverage extensions. You can’t go wrong with either builder or dip powder for adding strength though 🫶🏻 just pleaseee be verrry careful when playing with gels. Gels can cause allergies from overexposure on the skin (accidentally getting it on the skin) and I’m not sure if you have any little sore spots on your skin. I just don’t want to see you get hurt from it 🥺💖

    Would you say that OPI is your favorite dip powder kit? Better than nail boo?
    Sorry if you said that in this video I kind of was skipping through.

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it’s muuuch better than nail boo. My issue with nail boo was the discrepancy in what the colors actually look like vs the website. Many of my solid shades I purchased actually had shimmer in it, so they weren’t really solids. I don’t think nail boo’s quality was “bad” but I do think OPI’s is far superior. OPI powders have a 1 coat coverage which is super rare imo. My only “complaint” with OPI is that I wish that offered more glitters and smaller jar options. But they aren’t targeting us DIY’ers so I can understand why they don’t.
