So i should have Cyrus have the merchant class while having Ophelia as the dancer and Therion as the cleric and olberic as the hunter for the Sorcerer boss fight?
So i could just easily replace him with either Tressa or Alyn and have them be the cleric? And will the support skills you told me to equip be useful in this fight?
Austin Kasmeier you just need one cleric tbh, Ophilia is great, you just want to overheal your team with the Saving grace skill. So yes take the two skills: patience and saving grace. Against random foes you don't need them (i.e for grinding) but against bosses they are so powerful and make the fight much easier. In this vid I didn't have them though (didn't know how to build my team correctly back then).
Alright sounds good. What about the scholar skill that regenerates the users HP after their turn? I'm continuing to level up at the wellspring dessert.
Fun fact: The skills are actually latin. Here they are in English according to Google Translate. tenebrae operire = dark cloud lux congerere = light store ventus saltare = wind dance tonitrus canere = thunder sound glacies claudere = ice close ignis ardere = fire burning Eh I thought it was cool. K I'll leave now.
Google Translate Is unreliable, I used other sources to translate, and this Is what I got. Lux Congerere: Collection of Light Ignis Ardere: Raging Fire Galcies Claudere: Ice Prison Tonitrus Canere: Thunder Song Ventus Saltare: Wind Dance Tenebrae Operire: Bury In Darkness
Ez win: Dancer divine skill on cleric --> reflective veil with 3 BP --> All elemental damage reflected. Boss does unholy amounts of damage to himself. Just don't do it in the first 5 turns, cause you can't buff then.
I used Saving Grace on all my characters, when you have a good healer like Ophilia make the first heal, You have HP to spare and keep in check while dolling out the damage. My team was as such. Olberic: Warrior/Hunter (Saving Grace, Second Serving, Surpassing Power) Primrose: Dander/Merchant (Saving Grace, Hale and Hearty, Second Wind, Encore) Ophilia: Cleric/Apothecary)(Saving Grace, SP Saver, Encore, Second Wind, Hale and Hearty) Cyrus: Scholar/Dancer: (Saving Grace, SP Saver, Second Wind, Elemental Augmentation)
Oddly enough, I have been hoarding all my stat increasing nuts and I grinded my way into the 50-70 level range with some of my characters. I really should put Patience on all my characters just so that one or more of them can make multiple attacks or actions. I think I'm already at the point where I'm overpowered to virtually everything.
I haven't beaten him yet but I was doing pretty well with the overheal passive and using the Dancer's divine skill to get elemental resistance up on everyone. Also physical defence doesn't matter so if you can find high elemental defence armour with low physical it'll work great.
Elemental resistance and reflect are good, but I believe his AoE that makes it so you can’t buff anyone ALSO removes any buffs on everyone so even if you stack it he’ll remove it.
He also 1 shot my tank but with olive of life (L) i could always revive him, but the sorcerer is AOE so my tank (Olberic) couldn't cover for my fragile characters (Cyrus)
If you having problems with aoe you will stuggle against starseer. - just use dancer ultimate on a claric and use veil to reflect all elemental magics.
Same party, same jobs, 10 levels higher and this guy is still nuking me... Literally following move for move, and this guy just blasts me to death after phase 3 What gear are you using and where can i get it?
Really late but dancer + reflective veil is insta win, you just need to survive 5 rounds were you cant buff and he is an insta win. killed him with level 35 no problem
Or if you want to be cheesy, use the reflect veil strat. Good on ya for beating him without that strategy. Just to clarify, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using that strat, I just think it makes the battle a complete joke
Try combo with dancer and cleric divine skill then use reflective (cleric's skill) , i beat dreisang and steora although it needs more times , this combo is work!
Ok so I've been struggling trying to figure out what second job to give to therion. I gave him warrior but i see ppl giving him cleric. Why did you give him cleric?
Honestly, because Cleric was the only job available at this moment. Therion was the only character without a subjob so I give him Cleric just for the bonus stats, nothing else X) But now I have the secret jobs so I don't have this issue anymore, Therion could be Apothecary (even though Alfyn is better), Warrior (can be great, as he can use Incite and heal himself with Steal HP) or Hunter.
Therion is fast so he can spot heal effectively, however having Therion as a warrior is fun because i like evasion tanks and they're rare in games and therion is the best character to fulfil this role.
Ask4This yea but therion does really heal that much hp back to ppl. Plus i have olberic so i dont really need 2 tanks? I have cyrus as a acropathy or what ever its called so he heals too. I dont lol
What if you use the regular cyrus divine spell and then use the sorcerer divine spell plus elemental break? Yeah it's like a 3 turn set up but wouldn't it be able to do insane damage?
Héctor Hervás not at all, my therion is cleric bc it was the only available job but it's really not important! H'aanit as a thief/warrior is great (but honestly what's OP is her Leghold Trap especially against bosses)
Kiet oh ok, I have her as a thief right now although I don't want to bench therion :(. Thanks anyway. I'll do this battle once I finish every chapter 3, I still have 5 remaining.
I'm in the mid 50s early 60s and still can't beat any of the extra bosses, my primary party is: Cyrus: Cleric H'aanit: Warrior Therion: Hunter Olberic: Apothecary I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, my party gets wiped the second any fight against them starts
Level aren't that important in this game, your gear is! Try to buy/steal/loot a lot of equipments that enhance the defense of your team. Don't hesitate to sacrifice some damage/Sp/Hp to equip Elemental Amulet (fire, ice etc..) I think you need a Scholar in your team, if you manage to beat Dreisang first, the sorcerer job will help you a lot. There are a ton of good weapons/armors in Grandport (Costlands), steal it or buy it ;)
Elrinth More like 5K. Ophelia had 9,999 HP (olive heal L was used), and half of it was eaten in just one turn. Scary! My Ophelia has over 600 elemental defence as well.
Cool video, but I have a question about my team. My team is Cyrus w/ merchant, H'aanit w/ warrior, Primrose w/ cleric, and I wanted to get Alfyn w/thief but I will not have any obtain items path actions. Is that okay or should i switch it out with Therion w/ apothecary?
In combat Alfyn/thief is way better than Therion because he can use potions, Therion in the other hand has no such advantages, you can always open purple chest later, Alfyn's potions are deadly.
My comp was haanit/ war 50 Cyrus/cleric, lv49 therion/hunter lv46 ophelia/ sholar lv47 It was an awesome fight. Almost any combo will work, just have the divine abilities. And dont forget you can also break give boost vía items. Never have yo use them till this late bosses
I saw a comment on one of your videos about the Weaponmaster, and it said to focus on the sorceror first... How should I do this one if my party is Olberic/Apothecary LV. 52 H'annit/Warrior LV. 50 Ophelia/Sorcerer LV. 50 Primrose/Thief LV. 40 EDIT: AHHHHHH I BEAT IT YAYYYY... Until I got the confidence to go and try to beat Mattias (Ophilia Final Boss) and he used Sacred Flame (No Elemental Attacks, including healing) and I got destroyed

So i should have Cyrus have the merchant class while having Ophelia as the dancer and Therion as the cleric and olberic as the hunter for the Sorcerer boss fight?
Austin Kasmeier therion is not important, Ophilia and Cyrus are good. Olberic is here for tanking and he has Leghold Trap with the hunter subclass.
So i could just easily replace him with either Tressa or Alyn and have them be the cleric? And will the support skills you told me to equip be useful in this fight?

Talha Nazim oh, so that's why they sound like french words.
But the incantation sounds are superb... It adds to the immersion in an already engaging and strategic fight....
When translated, they sound pretty lame these spells.
Google Translate Is unreliable, I used other sources to translate, and this Is what I got.
Lux Congerere: Collection of Light
Ignis Ardere: Raging Fire
Galcies Claudere: Ice Prison
Tonitrus Canere: Thunder Song

Tenebrae Operire: Bury In Darkness
Ez win:
Dancer divine skill on cleric --> reflective veil with 3 BP --> All elemental damage reflected. Boss does unholy amounts of damage to himself. Just don't do it in the first 5 turns, cause you can't buff then.
Divine dancer skill can also help you making your team for a certian amount of time immune to status alignments.
Idk how but i managed to go before him and break him before it happened.
Yeah, I got lucky and was able to break him before he debuffed me
so useful to do this guy first, makes others alot easier
This helped a lot, thanks

Runescythe9852 that's a great skill indeed. Now that I have completely beat the game, the two mandatory skills are Saving Grace and Patience!
Oddly enough, I have been hoarding all my stat increasing nuts and I grinded my way into the 50-70 level range with some of my characters. I really should put Patience on all my characters just so that one or more of them can make multiple attacks or actions. Have you done the true final boss? He was quite challenging and I'm glad I used Saving Grace + Patience against him :P
I haven't beaten him yet but I was doing pretty well with the overheal passive and using the Dancer's divine skill to get elemental resistance up on everyone. Also physical defence doesn't matter so if you can find high elemental defence armour with low physical it'll work great.

@@Zhoomz Not true ,you keep the buffs ,He only doesnt allow you to reciece New ones, but doesnt remove any
Does Cyrus have the knowledge staff and the elemental agumentor equipped? The damage seems pretty low.
This guy was too freaking op for me, though I literally just beat the warbringer guy xD
ReaperZGaming really? I thought the Warbringer was harder, He could basically one-shot my tank 😬
Use Ophilia, another Cleric, and then a Dancer for starseer. Sealctige’s Seduction plus Aelfric’s Auspices = 8 reflects.
unlocking this job makes the game tons easier
Same party, same jobs, 10 levels higher and this guy is still nuking me...
Literally following move for move, and this guy just blasts me to death after phase 3

At least 400, and 2000 HP and it should be easy, if you think of one your character is too weak use Reflective Veil on him.
@Sundel: I think Kiet got lucky in this video. The boss didn't buff his magic attack in this battle. If he does, it's 4k damage to whole party.

HP boost on everyone
Sp cost divided by 2 on both Cyrus and Ophilia
