It’s a Long ,Nice and Juicy once in a Life time JellyBeansGaming video. Thank you for putting it together Sista hope you are over the Flu 100%. Have a relaxing, restful and Safe weekend👍🏽💙🥰
@@sweetjelly Story,I 100% 💯 agree, this the best story out of the two Norway games, although gameplay and just the gameplay alone, I surprisingly and honestly prefer God Of War 4. GOW5 Ragnarok gameplay in this to me for some reason, feels terrible. 😂🤣
6:53:19 Krato’s shrine shows mortals worshipping him because they love him and he started crying because he’s going to be remembered as a hero in the realms, not a monster like in Sparta.
another reason is the conversation earlier in the game with odin in Svartelheim. "and what kind of god is that kratos? What do YOU even know of godhood? In your lifetime has anyone ever worshipped you? Ever prayed to you? Can you even imagine, that kind of love? NO. you dont care for anyone beyond yourself. Beyond the monster that kills without cause" Later Kratos decides he doesnt need to kill heimdall and even gives him chances. Same with Odins spirit orb. Kratos chose not to kill bc there was no reason. Then to see people praying and worshipping him at the end mustve hit a nerve or a certain part of kratos to make the GOW cry.
It's extremely painful to see how Sindri goes from nice, clean freak and perpetually scared to empty and dirty at Brok's death, only to become full of hate and rage like the old Kratos. Painful and wonderful at the same time, i love this game
You really dont see it coming. Brok dies, and you think: ok were gonna meet Sindri, get a very sad monologue and he'll resolve to fight odin with us. You expect some catharsis, but Sindri is having none of it.
@@christopherbowers7236the best part is how as you’re leaving you register how he is entirely correct and you were a fool for expecting him to side with you. He offered them everything. He gave them gear, sometimes for free, he was kind and friendly with them, and even let them stay in his home, and they almost never show any form of gratitude. And while Odin tricked them all, it was Kratos and Atreus who brought “Tyr” back there.
I never noticed until now that when Odin puts his hand on Atreus’ shoulder at the start, Kratos’ hand goes straight for the handle of his axe, and stays there until Odin turns back to him.
I started playing this game shortly after my dog of ten years passed away. So you could imagine the absolute wave of emotions that hit me during thay scene in the beginning. This game portrays grief really well. And that final scene with Kratos and Faye really hit me hard too. But honestly this whole game is a masterpiece and I'm upset it did not win game of the Year.
I actually cried after the dog scene. My cat too of 10 years passed on 2020 and never forgot even to this day about her but that scene just got me so emotional because I remember my cat being the same way as finrir and having to let go.
the evolution of kratos in this ragnarok is incredible, from being a beast without feelings he became a father who cares about his son and everyone around him and what struck me the most in the whole game is that he spare the life of an elf in a secondary mission, for the first time in the entire saga of god of war kratos spare someone's life 😲 , and the most beautiful scene for me was his reconciliation with freya
“May this weapon strike true. May it be wielded with wisdom. May it be put down when its job is done.” I'll never forget Brok blessing Most Depressing Death of all gaming history...
The saddest part is how Sindri has changed. He’s completely different. Just look at him. Blood and dirt all over himself… When Mimir finally solved Brok‘s riddle, I lost it and cried. Idk why.
Thanks for leaving a comment! I completely understand what you mean about Sindri - his appearance and demeanor have definitely changed since we last saw him. And I'm right there with you about Mimir's riddle - that scene was incredibly emotional and really hit home. Sometimes we connect with characters in unexpected ways and that's what makes storytelling so powerful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Because Sindri has a hole in his life now that his family is taken aways from him, and that everyone has some holes in their life, some losing more from that day by day, some trying to fill it up with things.
The way Mimir says "Dammnit!" after hearing that Atreus was burying Fenrir kinda made me think. He's such a wise and sincere person, probably because he witnessed all of Oden's atrocities, and was victim to some of them. He really cares.
My favourite thing about this game? All the characters are treated and treat others with equal amounts of respect, no talking down to each other, no belittling, even when they are at odds. this is a healthy example of how to communicate.
When Freya and Kratos put things behind them, they're quarrel is exactly the same as Loki's and Odin's in Thor Ragnarok. Odin almost perfectly puts it into words. If not for what he did, Loki wouldn't be there to hate him now. If not for what Kratos did, Freya wouldn't be there to hate him now.
I don't know if you noticed but Sindri was using Brok's hammer and sword in the final battle. It is also ironic that the event that caused Odin's death was not all his crimes but the murder of Brok. When he killed Brok he put Sindri on the path that ended him once and for all. Remember Kratos and company were content to leave him trapped in the soul marble. It was Sindri that killed Odin, with Brok's hammer no less. The writing in this game is absolute top notch. In the first 3 games Kratos was the player character, but he was never a hero. In the past 2 games they took a destroyer of worlds and the embodiment of vengeance and turned him into an avatar for justice and rebuilding. BRAVO Santa Monica Studios..................BRAVO!!!!!
I’ve seen most players of the game miss the point of why none of them (minus Sindri) wanted to kill Odin in the end and end up either getting frustrated or saying they would have killed him. The whole message from the build up of the game is to be the better person and improve so past mistakes won’t be made. Atreus choices are impacted by that and from the very start never wanted Odin dead so did everything he could to change his mind and be the better person.
The amount of time it took them to develop this game and follow norse mythology. I’m still playing this game. Love the game and the community behind it. Thanks for all the videos JELLY!!

Kratos tells Atreus that they’re done right after Freya says we will kill anyone who gets in our way. Kratos has been down that road before which is why he chose to leave

It was people worshipping him at the end. He had never been worshipped as a god before, as Odin taunted him earlier in the story by saying it. Nobody had ever worshipped him but he saw a future where people would as he helps rebuild the world. That had him emotional and gave him purpose beyond protecting his son.
Not true in a way. When kratos was the god of war in Greece, sparta and the Spartans did worship kratos. But perhaps not in the affectionate way portrayed at the end of this game. Still. What an ending.
maybe im biggest fan of GOD OF WAR ever but honestly im impressed from your feelings specialy in ending and thank you for this amazing video,,,i hope to reply my comment...TC
As a huge fan of the God of War series, I can totally relate to getting attached to the characters. After playing all the GOW games, it's no wonder we feel a strong connection and sometimes forget they aren't real. best game ever I played it twice and it's so sad and so emotional
really good video keep up the work
It was people worshipping him at the end.
I still don't understand how everyone missed that he already died Thor changed the story by resuscitating kratos
The right jelly in the wrong place can make all the différence in the world 😀
Damn this game very cinematic and better than most moviea
Also how are your eyes after crying for that long

maybe im biggest fan of GOD OF WAR ever but honestly im impressed from your feelings specialy in ending and thank you for this amazing video,,,i hope to reply my comment...TC
Thank you so much for watching my video🙏🥰 Ragnarok is an amazing emotional roller coaster 😥
The next GOW is going to be very good whenever that comes out
She to damn emotional!! She acted like we were watching the lion king
As a huge fan of the God of War series, I can totally relate to getting attached to the characters. After playing all the GOW games, it's no wonder we feel a strong connection and sometimes forget they aren't real. The team at Santa Monica Studio did an incredible job with this game, creating an immersive world and characters that feel so lifelike. It's a testament to their amazing work
@@sweetjelly You don't have to explain anything to anyone. This was a great playthrough and I can feel you're love of one of my favorite game series of all time. New Subscriber here!
So pretty much by the end of the game the cycle of vengeance will continue through sindri
I hope not...I think Sindri needs some time to think it through because it was because of him that Brok was denied an after life. 😥😭
When do you think a man dies?
