@@christinalaw3375 I disagree, aquaponics produces premium produce and should be sold at premium price. It can be made low cost, all you need to do is master aquaponics and you dont have to buy those expensive equipments just diy will work. It has actually high yield and faster time for the plants to grow since it utilizes the vertical technique. if you look closely one tower has 90 holes and maybe about 100+ towers thats a total of 9000+ holes, 9000 plants in a 100 sqm thats a lot actually.😀

I always order online seeds from Citifarm, a gardening company based in my own residential city of Seri Kembangan. Last month I went there personally to buy seeds, cheaper to go straight to the shop in Seri Kembangan than ordering online. Is this the same company as Citifarm?
I am a former UPM lecturer in fisheries (my specialties are recreational fisheries and aquaculture), we used to to do fish-crop culture mentioned by the young man in this video, it's called aquaponics. I like to congratulate the young man, this is a good endeavor, Malaysia needs more young Malaysians like him to pioneer great enterprises.

Great job Sean! I'm really impressed with the setup (especially the fish tank design, it's gorgeous!)
Have to add though that GMO and F1 seeds are not the same... There isn't such a thing as GMO pakchoy for example, and GMO is generally not for faster growth, it's for resistance to pests or herbicides (so far). But there may be F1 seeds for faster growing varieties. However, I'm wondering if insufficient sunlight might be the reason for your slightly slower growth... how much reduction in light lux do you get with the heat shield? Your plants look slightly leggy so that was what came to mind.
Would definitely love to visit one day!!!

this is good to produce your own food in an urban area with small space but not very feasible in terms of maintenance, and it is not 100% green method of doing it - it costs you the electricity to run the pumps and the other equipment. To survive the worst in future, you need to learn the organic way of farming, and to reduce the carbon footprint.

I dunno actual value, but it's way too expensive to cash out as a student. These pots in a vertical column alone would cost around $10 each for bulk price mainly it needs very thick plastic ,for a column of eight or nine, it's already around $100 . That's my estimate, may be price difference exists. A row of ten is $1k, and it's just well made plastic pots. Not to mention other things and electric bills(ya you can go solar panels tho lol, it would cost too)

I would love to know more about his equipment, who manufactured it, how it works, the costs to start up his green house, how he maintains the fishes, what do the different color plant baskets mean to him and how he gets and starts his seeds. That would be really interesting to me. Thank you for taking your time to make this video and read this comment. Have a great day.

Absolutely beautiful farm! This is a brilliant idea and I hope to implement something similar here in Canada! How do I get a hold of Sean? does he have an Instagram?
