Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male, gray hair, blue eyes, bifocal eyeglasses, no teeth, bowlegged, scars on nose and abdomen.
Medical Conditions: Guy suffered from Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, and a heart condition. He may appear confused or disoriented.

I like how the grand daughter traveled to sites with Jared. It really helped her to understand. Emotional depth. I’m so invested in AWP. Episodes without Jared are not nearly as good.
jared is the linch pin for AWP but he cant search it all he has been training his team as best as he can. i am surprised he let a former employee back in since he did his best to tarnish jared on social media. he said bad stuff about him. but i guess jared is a forgiving guy.

As for law official folks , when they get a call concerning possible vehicle in water , they can only assume AT THE TIME as to what may be going on , but as watching the many divers/searchers as Adventure With A Purpose , they get to understand how to get from land to water in the event of water entry and the dynamics of these tragedies. In most of the discovery's , the rescue/searchers will say , nope we looked there or the person did not come this way "but , think outside the "what if's regardless . Thank you to Adventure With a Purpose and the many other search divers that do this work !
So many changes need to take place to best serve the vast number of individuals who go missing. Until we demand changes, we can expect the same results.

❤Jared has a 6th sense about these cases. He won't let go until he finds the lost souls. Many pretend to know how to use the equipment Jared afforded them. But they are too busy acting like they are better running around with a bigger boat and truck that the wife of another has. With a wife and and smaller children at home you'd think he'd do better. But Jared has gone back over their "cleared" areas more than once and found their target. God bless Jared and his wife and daughters. There is no better expert than Jared. He's a God send and an angel. And remember "We are never so lost that our angels can't find us" all the blessing God can bestow on this family will be greatly noted. Amen to that. I have to say I don't understand why city, country , state or Feds are not involved or helping with these endeavors. If not for the environmental impact of the vehicles in the lakes. I believe they have found 3 vehicles in one lake that were not the vehicle they were looking for

After recently traveling with my parents, who are in their 80s, I can see how easily elderly people get into trouble. It's a long story, but suffice it to say I remembered many of your episodes. Therefore, I will be putting a tracker in their vehicles.
My husbands granny is 98. A few years ago a family friend was traveling the highway in front of her house and watched as she pulled out in front of a 18 wheeler that was doing 65 mph! Thankfully she was not hit. Both of her vehicles were sold shortly after. She still mentions often she wishes she could still drive, but how she knows she can’t. I can not imagine where all she could end up on her bad days if she still had a car.
@@uplaymytune18 oh. They agree. I wouldn't sneak anything like that. They are buying them.
Problem with trackers is they don't transmit constantly. They update location every few minutes and usually only give you a general area of the last "ping" some times huge areas. Plus once it goes under water it likely will not be able to transmit signal.

I know exactly were they were on black lake been fishing there for 10 years fathers been fishing there for just about 30. Never would have thought I'd see these guys working on a case at a lake I'm familiar with. Hope all goes well in the search

Watertown native here. Without seeing parts 2&3 i may be behind the curve. In regards to Dexter, The boat launch there you can drive right into the water if you really wanted to, it also floods almost every year with the spring thaw. Also, on route 3 in Watertown (headed towards the village of Black River NY) there is another boat launch that is pretty secluded that can be driven straight into.
Absolutely love you Jared for working your hardest to help these families and bring loved ones home. God bless your heart 🩵

Jared never left. He was at home, working non-stop during the Summer of 2022. He was very busy trying to purchase new RV's, larger trailers, customizing all four, had solar installed on both sets of RV's and trailers, insurance, titles, ordering additional equipment, hiring additional staff, planning the 2023 Fall Road-trip for 2 full teams.

It’s scary how many people go missing underwater. Whenever I drive past bodies of water around where I live I always wonder if there are any vehicles below the surface.
I've driven past one they ended up recovering about 100 times while fishing. Now when I take that route, it's just erie.
I live near St.Croix Falls, Wisconsin and it’s right next to the St.Croix river. We have a ton of missing persons posted up at our local Walmart too and I often wonder how many of them could have drove into the river or been hidden by someone in it. It’s 100ft deep in some spots. It honestly gives me quite an earie feeling. There’s so many big rocks and a strong current and big trees though so idk if it’d be possible to make out vehicles. :/

I've had a leak in my gas tank before...and it was right after I got a full tank that it was noticed. The mechanic has to take the tank off the vehicle, AND make sure the tank is dry inside before welding it, so I was told they could either siphone most of it out into several containers then put it back in, or I could drive it until I needed gas. In my mind, I had just filled up, so I wasn't watching the gauge very closely just yet and then my mind was off of it...I almost ran it totally out of gas by mistake. This issue seems legit...and could explain why he was out and about visiting several people that day, because he was trying to use up his gas. I so hope he is found. My heart breaks for these families.

God...I think I remember this from the local news. We were living in Ogdensburg a few miles up the road. Believe I saw it in both Watertown and Ogdensburg Advance Newspapers.
It's cool that you guys came to central NY I am not from the area I like half way in between from Syracuse NY and wartertown NY like central square NY carzy never heard of this missing guy until now hopefully u find him won't let me watch the rest of it yet but been really cool if I got to meet all the guys doing the good for many people

Was that stairs looking thing under water the remnets of a RXR Bridge??? Alot of those old bridge were timber framed...
In thecase of dementia, it'll begin YEARS before its actually diagnosed. My Dad is 86 and has full-blown alzehimers, the dementia started in his late 60s/early 70s. This man may have had, what they call, black moments, and dont remember any of it. I pray this family gets the closure they are so desperately looking for. Also, i am excited to see some of the areas i lived in. ❤❤❤

Sandy hollow rd has a hole in the river bed by a little bridge. Its right below a power plant. The Indian River has a lot of those deep holes that never really dry up but they get large ice flows in the spring. If he never took the highway he likely crossed one of them. But the bridges going into Theresa would be a no go because they drained that part in the early 2000s to work on that power plant. Someone would have seen it.
Also a fare few old pit mines off the side roads we were always told had cars in the bottom.

You got an elderly man,has gas,but no money or credit cards,lets say he did not have any leaks,thats an 18 gallon fuel tank, roughly 16 miles per gallon,if its dementia he could have traveled well over 200 miles,thinking he is headed towards home,it has happened before!!As always love you guys and what you do:-)
89 blazer has a 350 with either a carb or early EFI, no way it is getting better than 10mpg. my 96 Chevy 1500 pickup with a 350 and sfi barely gets 13mpg

Sounds like the usual cases when men with incoming dementia don't want to be a burden or feel like they can't do things anymore and decide to end it. Maybe that's what he meant by 'going to see family'. I hope he's found.

❤Jared❤ such an amazing guy, i juat love the way he speaks to the families, he doesnt sugarcoat anything but gets to the point with respect. I cant begin to imagine what these families feel, i lost my dad to Dementia in 2018 when i was 32, he was my best friend and i am still devastated about he. He went missing a couple of times but only for a few hours, luckily, where i live, everyone knows someone so always brought him back home, that was terrifying enough. Keep up the amazing work guys. Never underestimate the possibility of an elder having a memory lapse or a possible stroke causing delusion and unexpected travel. Also we don't 100% know all the spots he might have gone that he could have remembered as a child or younger years? Check ALL bodies of water regardless of secludedness.
have you tried putting a polarized lens on your drone to see under the water better?
Can Homeland Security grant permission? Can the fire department get in there for rescue? I’m sure there’s a way.
