How to Manually Eject a Stuck disc from your Xbox One S Console

- Hi, this videos shows you what to do if your disc has become stuck in your Xbox One S console. Firstly try to Power Cycle your console to do a hard reset (this will not delete anything from your Xbox). If the game disc still does not eject then you will have to use an Allen / Hex key or a paper clip to manually remove the disc using the hidden hole at the side of the console. You will need to insert the paperclip/Allen key at least 42mm (4.2cm) to be able to remove the disc.

Dude, you saved me! I was watching a movie in my Xbox 1s tonight, and all of the sudden, the power surged for a second, and then my xbox died. I tried unplugging etc, it has not turned back on. No big deal, I got an extended warranty, but it had a red box movie stuck in it. I watched your video, I used a paper clip, found the hole, and it popped right out. Thank you for making this video!
Just set my new Xbox up in the most awkward shelving unit and realised I left a disc in my old one, guide saved me the hassle of switching them round to get it, cheers mate 👍
Thanks so much dude. Got a brand new S, just pulled it out of the box and already had an issue ejecting the disc. NOT impressed with the disc drive since it obviously wants to keep your discs but other than that I love it!

oh my God I feel like I'm the dumbest person in the world!!!! I just spent an hour trying to get a disc out of my Xbox One s, and could not get it out I tried everything!!!! then I realized that I had ejected it and put it back in the case an hour ago! turns out you can't get a disc out of the disc tray if there's no disc in it to begin with 😉

I used a Bobby stick but used the side with the creases and thicker end.
Bobby pin worked fine for me i used the straight side

Hi was wondering if you could help me.. I did this step by step for my friends Xbox and the hex key went all the way in but no disc came out. He says there is definitely a disc stuck in there.. because the Xbox won't accept any other disc.

After using the Allen key in my Xbox I heard something snap in the hole now I don’t feel any resistance and my disk still won’t come out it wouldn’t come out in the first place when I didn’t use full pressure and still nothing even barley popped out

How do I eject a disk in a normal Way? Use the remote or is there an actual eject button on the console ?

Excellent video it works exactly like he says to do it. Got my game out of a Xbox that won't power on. Mosfet on power rail went out so I'm screwed and saving up to buy my third Xbox one since their Birth. All have had software or mechanical failures 1 year in or later. Sucks
There was a blackout when I was playing xbox and a disc got stuck and after that the xbox won't open is it the reason

Thank you so much for this video, I just had to do this, my Xbox One is really old so some of the stuff is going bad on it including the eject button and power button but it still works lol

If this didn’t work take another disc and push it in until u feel it under the disc then pull it out then the other disc should come out on top IT WORKED FOR ME

Someone please help I tried the paperclip method and tried other stuff and it's still not working my grandson is really upset can I get the disc out of there when you turn it on and hit the eject button it just makes a grinding noise

I remember reading the instructions for my One S Gears 4 Edition and they said something like “insert a paperclip into the small hole on the side of the console…” and I looked and saw all the damn venting holes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
