How To Manually EJECT a DISC from your Xbox One console. STUCK DISC FAULT

- Hi, this video shows you how to remove a stuck disc form your Xbox One using the hidden hole located at the side of the console. You will need a long object less than 1.5mm in diameter and at just over 4cm (40mm) in length. An Allen Key (HEX Key) is perfect for this task.
Fist try a full power cycle to see if this allows you to remove the disc and if it doesn't then DISCONNECT the power supply to the console and follow the steps in the video using a 1.5mm Allen Key and then manually remove the disc. Make sure there isn't a label or something sticky on the disc which is preventing it from being removed.

note, you have to push quite hard.
the paper clip/allen key WILL NOT scratch the disc though, so don't worry!
I had to push harder than I originally expected but the disc popped out as soon as I did. Xbox was OFF.

I FOUND A DECENT WAY, WHEN YOUR DISC IS STUCK IN THE TRAY, TRY AND PLACE ANOTHER DISC IN THE TRAY (ABOUT HALF WAY IN) LEAVE IT IN THE TRAY AND PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON, BOTH DISCS CAME OUT WHEN I TRIED IT AND IT FIXED MY GRINDING NOISE. I COULDNT GET THE ALLEN KEY THING TO WORK

Showing the length you need and how it wiggles in the hole when its not in the second hole right really helped me understand how it works and what I was doing wrong. Thank you so much!! I have never felt so dumb in my life... I couldn't get the game I bought to play, it refused to load the disc, AT ALL. After a while of tinkering with the settings, I realized it wouldn't even come out of the xbox! My disc drive is broken, I thought. I tryed looking through the internet for ways to take this disc out, and NOTHING worked to get this disc out of my xbox.
Fast forward a month later, I tryed to fix the problem again. I came across this video hoping it would solve the issue, but it STILL didnt work.
I forgot to put the new game in the xbox when I first got it. I was trying to manually eject a disc that didnt exist. I suck...

Also keep note: if your disc won’t read when you put the disc in, tilt it 40 degrees up and then insert the disc.

@@alexxturrubiates8761 Did it that way on my original Xbox for a long time and it worked until I bought a new console. Don’t tilt the console, but the disk.

You can make it a tad easier by taking grill off the side. If you grab it right by the usb outlet that grill comes right off. You can get that piece of plastic under it out of your way to if you like by just lifting up on sync button a bit and sliding the plastic piece out. Doing either isn't necessary but it only takes a second if you want a little more room and to be able to see the hole clearly.
Idk about u but that grill was a prick to get off the first time I tried thought I was gonna snap that bitch lol

Worked perfectly when my son put a disc in upsidedown. Great video.
A better way that I found useful was to unplug your xbox from all the connected wires (if possible) and take two butter knives (or two prongs just whatever is very slim and wide, but can fit in the xbox) and take one of the knives slide one under the disc that is stuck inside the xbox and the other on top, so for example the two knives would be inside the disc slot. After that you would have to clamp one down on the other so it is gripping the disc pretty tight but not too tight so it scratches the disc. Pull it out using both and there you go! My xbox one disc was stuck in there for the longest time and I watched all sorts of videos but none seemed to work so your welcome if this works.

YOOTOOCOO instead of doing the 2 I just used 1 and slid it under the disc and tilted the knife up it worked and I didn't scratch my disc

Mind you, pushing 'in the right hole', always gives a lot less resistance.
I have a recommendation if this doesn’t work a sort of last resort. What you should do is put another disk in ( It should only go about halfway in) then press the eject button it might end up dragging the disk up with your other disk giving you the opportunity to slightly either grab it or dig it out with an object

You don’t understand how much you saved me because I just bought assassins creed unity, ufc 2,dying light, devil may cry HD collection and the hitman first season complete and I was gonna put all the discs in to download them one by one and when I put dying lights disc in it got stuck and I was genuinely having a heart attack thinking I just wasted all this money for nothing so I searched this up and lucky I had a toothpick and it worked TYSM🙏🏽🙏🏽
