I lived in NC and had a 360 slim as well as a Wii growing up I'm hoping maybe one of these episodes you'll end up finding one or both of my old consoles 😂

Yoooo I'm hoping for the same thing to happen. I'd love to see my wii that's laser broke in 2012-13. I threw my wii away around that time and hoping someone found it and fixed it and it ends up in one of these videos.

My son picked up a laptop for free as it wasn't working. He managed to get access to the laptop and found something similar and had over 2 gigs of pictures.
We reached out to the person who gave it away as the pictures actually had last ones of the family's grandmother. So we managed to upload them for the family to get the pictures back. They were so grateful.

Those aren't really dirty movies. The whole Shades of Gray series is as tame (and boring) as can be and the Saussage Party movie is on the same level as South Park.

If you found my childhood Wii, you’d be confused by most of the Miis on it. We filled it up to 100. Most of them are inside jokes or characters we liked.
I wish I found more like that honestly. Most of them just have a handful of fairly normals Miis

the internal memory unit is probably busted on the one that had two profiles of the same name. one profile was on the HDD and one was on the internal memory and when you loaded the internal memory one it crashed.
Yeah just gonna pop the flash memory out in a future video, just like I did in my last video
Basically on the first PS3, if you have the original background, it changes shade around time.
Those streaks on that PS2 look like cord burn from storing it with some cords wrapped around.

For the Slim 0003 code, look for any bulged or leaking caps on the board. I had one with that error and it was a busted cap. Could be mosfets too though
Whenever you get around to testing that Wii U, make sure you test the virtual Wii side, because its possible for the Wii U side to work and have the Wii side being bricked
I’d love to see you improve that fat PS2. I grew up with the ps2 so it’s super nostalgic for me so I’d love to see you explain the inner workings of it and make it like new.

I had one of those non backwards compatible white Wii’s, I was just as surprised when I got home and couldn’t plug my controllers in

I've never seen a non back compatible white Wii before, i only remember the red one with the smaller form factor.
The amount of consoles that still have games inside them is crazy.
One of the main reasons I still have my PS3 today is because of all the custom playlist for music soundtracks I made on it, as well as my collection of movies and “other” videos….
I got one video with Laura Croft and Mister Ed, which is really spicy hats off to whoever made it!
I gave my PS3 Slim from 09 or 10 (not quite sure anymore) to my sister who still uses it to this day, I had like 70 games but I lost the email that the main account is connected to so she can't log in and download them from the store again. And the console now has a problem where it stutters and has bad performance in general.
I would really like to fix it up for her if that's even possible but it is ancient now and has thousands and thousands of hours of runtime so I'm not sure if there's much I can do or what you could even do. I'm guessing the main problem would be the harddrive but maybe it also needs cooling paste reapplied?
So if you have any tips or ideas it would be greatly appreciated!
the easiest way to tell if a Wii is backward compatible is if the logo is sideways or not. they changed it when they removed the GameCube stuff

Autoplay is the FIRST thing I change when setting up a 360.
Did you ever remove the Memory Units for those 360 profiles?
(5:26) I had an Xbox 360 E back around the time I was attending college, and it was a 4 GB console so I left autoplay enabled as the only games I were playing were off physical game discs.
(I know I could've bought a Wii U instead, but there's a long story I won't get into here)
Any recommendations on 360 Slim display and touch pad repairs? I can turn on the 360, but can't turn it off, open the tray OR get anything on the screen. I assume my cats knocked it around one too many times. Luckily I saved to a hard drive in case I need to replace it.

seeing the dog on the Wii Fit channel is almost sad, especially since it's named Angel. it was last seen 6 years and 5 months ago, and that's a lot of time for a small breed dog like that.
if it's family included it in stuff like Wii Fit, then you know it had a good life. and i hope it still is living the best life with its family.

i just saw a great SSD mod for the PS2 fat. Pretty neat stuff, they even got the adapter to use a ps4 controller with it. might be a nice project.

Still baffles me that people are shocked to see a 360, wii or ps3 with fairly recent use. I use my ps3 and gamecube og xbox daily. Quite a few games that only play on the original hardware. I am currently on a platinum grind for saw 2 and lollipop chainsaw on ps3 in fact
for the jetsstayfly pofile on that one xbox, it said one of them was on the memory unit and one was on the hard drive so maybe it was just the one on the memory unit having issues?

I had an xbox 360 Slim with an Older 360 had drive just hanging in there, it was stolen from me, and it had all my halo 3 maps I made when I was like 12 years old. I would love to have that hard drive back with all my maps.

There are 2 profile because they changed their email so you have to download that account again and it makes the previous one inaccessible since its on a different email you can recreate the same thing by having a profile on a USB and the hdd hope this helps :))
at 3:22 it looks like the user made the same account on 2 different locations for some reason (maybe because of the glitch that you encountered). one is stored directly onto the console memory, while the other is stored on the hard drive.

Hey, ps3 saves in folders can be sorted by last played by pressing square, fyi for future vids man. 🙂
On a PS3 press square to group/ungroup save files in folders, it's sorted alphabetically in folders so that wasn't the last time he played btw.

With the PS3 with messages in 2018 I think that it will show PS4+ messages recieved but not sent. So if they had it plugged in somewhere with the same PS+ login
The ps3 was the goat of piracy the ability to keep movies and music and to transfer to psp was unmatched
you can always try to send the person of that playstation a message, maybe that person still uses the same ID and give them a brief description of some of those photos. Im still using the same ID fior the past 20 years
I actually really prefer auto play when playing games. Although usually when I wanna play a game I insert the game disc and when I’m done playing I remove the disc.
With the ps2 take it apart and clean the laser with alcohol on a cue tip the use the other end of the cue tip to take off access alcohol m, but it back together and I promise it will work

Very easy to get pictures off a PS3 just pop a flash drive in and press triangle on a folder and copy it to the flash drive.
Maybe somehow the data split between the drive and system

I think white non backwards compatible wii is actually the “family edition wii” that was released later on the Wiis lifetime and they dont have GameCube support.
