Very insightful. However anembutido does not need to be steamed. It can be baked. Or wrapped and fried (sometimes in banana leaves) If fact the word means sausage in spanish,a total deprture from what filipinos call embutido, which is more like a meatloaf. That version does not exsist in spain. As for wrapping in lumpia, its may sound crazy, but the flavors of the filling are inspired by our filipino embutido thus the name for as reference to the inspiration if you get my drift.
