Yung filling naman the tofu we dont fry it anymore sinasama na namin sa gisa we put ground pork, shrimps, sitsaro, cabbage, carrots, optiomal ang toge. The sauce naman ok ang addition na peanut butter but without is fine too. When we wrap it we line it with petchay para di mabilis mapunit and stable yung wrap kasi may extra water pa yung filling and di mapunit yung wrapper. Thats the way authentic chinese fresh lumpia is made. :)

We went there on our last visit to Phil twice at Carbajal Street alley in Binondo. Had the Chinese lumpia for 100 pesos. The servings got smaller than when I remember many moons ago. We ate by the small table at the alley standing. Your version has more sahog than the vendor at Carbajal. I will make this at home for our next gathering. Thks for sharing

My mom used to make chinese lumpia but we dont use sotanghon and we use ground peanuts with sugar.I remember when i was a kid, everytime we go to the city we use to stop by a store named Rosita's and buy chinese lumpia. It is sooo good. I miss those days. Noong umuwi ako last 2022, i found the chinese lumpia in Ala King cafe, brings back my childhood memories❤

Ung na mimiss kong fresh lumpia is ung sa tita ko😊 dami kc rekado, as in sa lamesa namin noon buhay pa lola ko, pag magpadala tita ko ng pang lumpia, punong puno dining table namin kc puro rekado. Parang nasa 10 ata, and counted as one ung nagisang gulay and isang count lng din ung seaweed and sotanghon. 🤤 Pagnaglulumpia kami dto sa bahay ngayon naglolokohan kami about dun sa seaweed kc nakahiwalay and giling na cya, tapos naka ziplock😂 tawag namin weeds (ung bang binubuga nila, e wala namang nagsisigarilyo samin, games lng ang bisyo namin)😂😂😂
