I love the urban grungy-ness of Ultraviolence. She had never worn such casual clothing (ripped jeans, t-shirts, flat shoes) for an album aesthetic before, and she also didnt use hair extensions for it. It made her look more relatable but still untouchable at the same time because she was still with the same graceful dreamy aura.
The way you said her name is used as an adjective is so fng amazing bc I recently started stanning her (I’ve known her since 2013 but never got to stan, I know I’m late af 😭) and I find myself looking for either clothes or decor for my house specifically searching Lana del Rey core/aesthetic or Lana del Rey vinyl on tiktok lmao love your content!

I Like thé breakdown of the Honeymoon era and aesthetic. And how summer and melancholy are historically two things that don’t go hand in hand in media. And that alone is why I fell in love with Lana Del Rey. Ever since a kid, I HATED SUMMER (& tbh Summer hated me too) I always cringed at the anticipation of summer. It was never kind to me But bc everyone else LOVED summer, i felt guilty for hating summer until Lana came out with Summertime Sadness and I was like omfg 😦 SHE GETS IT!!! And from then on, most of her lyrics with the mention of summer are usually melancholic and I 100% get it. It’s so comforting to me 😂

I agree with you 99%, really great job. I just have a question about blue banisters, because you said "spring". Don't you think this is an autumn album? You know, brown colours, piano like in coffe shop, Thunder, "Spring, I skip, God knows" etc?

I’m watching this video with basically no context of Lana. Besides her soft singing voice and pretty aesthetics I may listen to her music but you mentioned it’s so depressing I’ll probably stay away for now
She doesn't have a lot of "cheery" songs but if you're ever in the right mindset to listen, she has a lot of beautiful music!

So I was literally having a panic attack, and I thought of LDR and instantly felt better.... like, I'm obsessed with her but I don't really listen to her music a lot (it's so good, but so painful sometimes)
