This session was so informative, I loved how Jacilyn explained everything so detailed so that I understand well, she touched on everything I have been questioning and so thoroughly. Excellent speaker and so informative!! This was one of the best conferences touching on the anti inflammatory diet, breaking it down to the good and bad foods and why each of them either benefit or do not benefit. I could go on and on. Thank you jacilyn, this is just what I needed, esp. to see the concerns with gut health. I have been so ill and am going to take these suggestions to heart.

@@stacimarie3 No. You did not. God is not the same as god. God is used when we speak of the creator of the universe. If you use god or gods, it does not mean the same thing. Many people refer to themselves as gods with a small "g", or they mention gods because they think there are many types of gods in this world. God is very different from God for those reasons and many others.

Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "natural way to reverse autoimmune hepatitis" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Ponogan Eminent Precedence - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to fight the root cause of autoimmune diseases minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.

I loved your talk, learned a lot, but please don’t attempt to speak on the ketogenic diet. The fact that ketones are in your urine isn’t the problem, it’s the reason they are there that can be a problem. If someone is on a keto diet, that’s the reason. Also, the amount of ketones is only about 1-3 vs above 10 for ketoacidosis. It is a very safe and effective diet that can be maintained for the rest of your life if you so choose. There are many N-of-1 examples that have been on it for 10-20 years. Ask Dr Hyman…and refer people to him and Dr Volek or Dr Westman for their keto info. Sorry to come off harsh, you seem like a good and caring provider, but for those of us for whom the keto diet literally changed our lives, it’s personal. It also put my autoimmune condition in remission, essentially- no symptoms when on keto.

I’m late to the party but had to comment anyway hoping even one person sees it. Please, if you have an autoimmune disorder or any other disease do not eat carbs of any kind. There is no such thing as “good” carbs. The human body was not designed to digest carbs and they are what are causing pretty much all of the diseases so prevalent today. Our ancestors lived primarily on meat, meat fat, and organs. They only ate other things like nuts and plants when they were desperate and trying to survive in times of scarcity. There are many people who have cured their so called incurable diseases (diabetes, crohn’s, even cancer) by completely eliminating carbs and eating only meat. The human body does not need carbs for survival and in fact is better off without them!
