That’s got to be the worst part of decorating. 😩 I can understand why someone would leave their tree up for an extended amount of time, especially if they are the one’s doing the majority of the work.

I married into a very large family, and as an introvert, I began to dread the month of December. Fast forward 26 years later, and we now live in another state and we no longer celebrate Christmas or host. "It's the most wonderful time of the year" 🎶🎶🎶......finally. 😅

She has a Design Session titled "Tidying Up After the Holidays". IMHO, it's worth the $9.99 for one month for that session alone. The principles explained there can be adjusted for any budget and make so much sense. Like many, we''re a "paycheck to paycheck" family but are applying her principles to the extent we can. It's making such a difference in streamlining and organizing our approach to decorating. And the results are gorgeous! What an improvement!

Good question to be updating after she made that video. I don't remember which one she said. My favorite form her is the one from year 2016, she did uses her frosted deer in the tree, platinum or gray d stevens ribbon and she frosted her green tree with sprays and picks. I remember everything because she offered us the opportunity to buy from Shinoda with an special code that was given if you signed up for the design sessions. Mr James was very helpful. I do notice that in this garland she is using some frosted picks from that year. My favorite product spray from that shopping christmas year. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore. Ok, now I will go and watch the link that she shared here.
My favourite one is the one with the musical instruments. I loved that theme. The way that the music sheets were used as ribbons and the musical instruments were infused in the decorations... oh my! Felt like the whole house was a fine tuned orchestra. And the piano was the great maestro... it was almost as I could listen to the decorations singing a magical Christmas story. I mean your designs are always magical but there was something about that one... breathtaking..

I like the way the tin trees, nativity and painting blur the lines of where the counter and wall begin and end. Makes the outside corner less awkward and transitions around to the next space.
I start decorating on Nov 1st. I am insane about Christmas! I was blessed to inherit my grandparents (both sets) and my Mom's Christmas decorations. With everything I have bought over the last 40 years, it's a lot for a 1900 sq ft home. My oldest piece is a manger that was built by my grandfather's uncle for my grandparents 1st Christmas in 1933. It takes a couple of days to put away my normal decor and cleaning before I can start decorating. We get a real tree the weekend before Thanksgiving, and have someone come out to hang the lights outside the house as well. I love to be done in time for Thanksgiving Day, and that's the night we turn all the lights on outside. Once the house is done, I can start to relax and focus on shopping and wrapping gifts, while enjoying all the Christmas decor. It used to be that people thought I was crazy starting so early, but in the last 10 years I've noticed more people are doing the same. Maybe it's because we're in Central Florida and it never looks or feels like Christmas. So many of us are from the northern states (I'm from NY), and we miss the changing of the seasons. Whatever the reason, it makes me so happy to see my home and my community all dressed up in it's holiday finery! Love, love, love your videos!

I don't do Christmas without Rebecca. It wouldn't be right without her. I've been following Rebecca Robeson since 2008. I know she won't remember, but I do, when we had emails going between us and sharing our love of decor way back in 2012. I was thrilled to be able to converse with her. Your home is beautifully decorated but not overdone. I am thinking that when there is snow outside and your home is lit in the evening, what a beautiful and cozy place to be. If you aren't watching The Golden Bachelor, you're missing out. What a gentleman he is. I lost my husband one year ago this November and this show gives every woman some hope and joy that maybe a second chance at love is possible. ♥
And the women representing our age are outstanding and beautiful I love the show. The down side is the show is so short. I wish it was at least 2 hours like the others in the past.

I love the garland over the cabinets, it is beautiful. My kitchen has a high vaulted type ceiling, so the cabinets do not go all the way up. Garland would really be pretty up there. I love your Christmas decorating videos.

I love your kitchen decor. I love The Golden Bachelor and love Gerry and the ladies. I'm 64 and widowed 2 years now and lost my wonderful husband. I feel The Golden Bachelor gives us all some hope on just being a vibrant woman. It really shows we all have lived a full and interesting life if you have been on this plant long enough.
Frosty elegance is what I would call this style this year. Because every room makes me feel like I am in a frosty winter wonderland. Or Elegant Frosting Christmas.

One of the design elements you use that I love is not everything needs to be against a wall or flush perpendicular. You use angles for flow and it adds to the beauty! 😊

oh YES your kitchen is out standing I wish I could achieve a 10th of what you do. Artist you are in all that you do. Something I often do with the battery-operated flicker candles is I hot-glue ribbon around them. (Ribbon to ribbon, not to the actual candle.) This year I have been using the Lame' micro-dot ribbon I got from Amber Marie. The Starburst glitter ribbon is actually wider (taller) than the candles.
I started my Christmas decor only because my husband and I host the Christmas party each year for his clinic, on the first Friday of December. Our guest love the “wow” experience and I just can’t get it done in the week following thanksgiving.
I hate bringing down my fall decor so soon and most definitely before Thanksgiving, as I think it is just as lovely as Christmas!
