- Christmas decorating for Christmas 2023 is off and running. Today we will work on our Living Rooms starting at the focal point of the room... the fireplace (if you have one, the first wall you see if you don't ;-) This year I'm armed with all the supplies from Amber Marie & Co.
garlands, picks & sprays, gorgeous glamorous ribbons, Christmas balls, ornaments, and of course... strings of Christmas Lights!
With my help, you can create a custom garland that will delight and dazzle your family and friends from the moment they walk into your home!
My theme for this year is a glamorous, sophisticated, and elegant winterscape of snow, trees, and of course... REINDEER! You'll meet a few more of my beloved reindeer... Donner and Blitzen…. Or is it Prancer and Vixen?
In addition, I've finally discovered a way to include not one... but two Christmas trees in my living room this year - something I've always wanted to do :-) AND... I show you how adding an affordable piece of Christmas-themed ART can add so much to your theme and color scheme, elevating your finished look.

Agreed with that, she should also consider adding the jewels picks that she is using now and also used for her queen last year, they are not easy to find, and why not to add the burst mirror as well. 🤭

You wear it well! The past year I was out if town helping my daughter and oldest granddaughter (but young) who was going through surgery, chemo, and radiation treatments for breast cancer. Gorgeous color palette and LOVE the flocking too! This is one of my favorite themes you’ve done. So elegant but clean too. A design one could really enjoy through mid January because it doesn’t scream Christmas.

Oh Rebecca…The theme and execution of the frosty winter wonderland is *STUNNING!!* I couldn’t agree more about the twinkling light strand. When an entire garland, tree, etc. is blinking it is just too much and creates visual noise! A subtle twinkle is perfect!

As a Design Sessions member I was able to buy from Shinoda a "Mr. Chomper" as you call it. (Bench wire cutter.) I love it and use it all the time.
Ahhh, Bench wire cutter. Thank you for the name of the type of cutter she used. I thought it was actually called Mr Chomper so I Googled searched for it. 😂
@@nicolem.5141 The one from Shinoda Design Center is $235 so it's super high quality and strong. You might try a bolt cutter for the same strength. Regardless, I would probably buy local so you can try something out and return it if it isn't what you want.

Your color choice this year is so zen and peaceful and so beautifully spa like. Your decor is elegant but not gawdy and yet glam but not overly done. I would go nuts with all the flocking and/or glitter (and I do at my own home) that falls to the floor and yet it doesn't seem to bother you and you just keep going! And in my head I'm like nooooo how does she deal so well with that and then when you show your final product it all goes away and the only thing that is left is this beautiful product that you have created and that I love.
