I have been meditating on a regular basis for quite some time now and I am much happier than I have been ever before. I am not perfect in my meditating at all but nevertheless my life has improved considerably. It helps me a lot to listen to someone who has gone the path towards enlightenement much further than me. Thank you!

7:30 "If only so many people were interested in dharma."
Why? Isn't that a desire? Why don't you let that go?
27:31 "As long as you know that it's only what you want. It's not what you need."
That's just pure arrogance to think there's an arbitrator of other's needs. Who are we to judge the needs of others? Why don't you reflect upon this?

But, other than that a lovely video. There are some false Buddhists out there preaching their indignations and projections. It's a real joy to see a real one. Thank you.
    Best wishes Monk!

Hi Bhante, I heard you say Monks are not allowed to ask for things. So thats why I ask if you want something for your classes. Your comments have tripled in a year per video. So Im just concerned as the comments grow that it may be harder to scale the increase using a phone. I also feel what you are doing has great value so Im willing to support it. As far as a conference room that was simply another option to avoid purchasing equipment. Will you be able to let us know if you need equipment? A chromebook comes in sizes less than 10 inches. It would fit in your bowl and you can certainly leave it behind. Its not an anchor just an aid. From my side its no walk in the park to offer you something because money, gifts offerings, possessions are a big deal and I know Im putting you in that position but I see no other way than to ask. As I told you its extra, free, it came to me from practice so I dont consider extra as mine.

Thank you but I really don't need anything. Anumodana Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu for your kind offering though. Sukhi Hontu

But yes, as you have offered I am allowed to ask you for assistance in the future if necessary. Your support is greatly appreciated. Be happy and stay well.

The point is that we are as lay people much more obuse that Monks. Different mind set up for us because life challenges or Samsara. Monks are relatively even not comparable to lay people because of completely different world living in. Not sure which sides of is much difficult or easy but definitely in perspective spiritual path is huge different.

interesting point. I assume monks do not bring personalities into this for the simple reason it would take away the from principles. But yes Im sure they have difficulties with the ego. Which is really helpful to know we are pretty much in the same boat even though we have different paths.

Thank you Bhante, Nibbana is easy, all you have to do is realize there is no self. Just kidding. Not easy. I consider myself a practising hermit or dummy. Ive never been to church or studied any doctrine until now, by listening to you. But I did study the teachings of Christ. He says about himself. I of my own self am nothing. I call Nibbana achieving consciousness. But I think it is still the same path. When I first started I wanted to achieve Nibbana so badly, for six years every spare moment was in meditation. Then after trying so hard I realized everything Im doing Im initiating. I initiate meditation, kindness, self inventory. As long as there is an I in any of my dealings Im not going to experience Nibbana. So if anyone is like me and still sees the I going the slow and methodical way is certainly much easier and fun. In other words if you are not close to realizing Im nothing forget nibbana and enjoy the next 24 hours.

Sometimes you say that there is no rebirth according to Buddha and some time you saythat the cat is reborn and would have practiced Buddhist culture in previous life.please clarify
