Ah, Bikini Bottom...
Sunokanse Bikini Bottom in a nutshell!
Oh my god....really?! XD
Sunokanse yep
Jaimee Kinman you mean in a clamshell 😄😄😄
Yah I think the clam live in Bikini Bottom were SpongeBob SquarePants live
holy crap so spongebob was not wrong at all, these things really do fly like birds
cyberwolfy37 it seems we can all learn a thing or two from SpongeBob SquarePants
I think its like butterflies
Yeah because the creator of spongebob was a marine biologist.
Yep. I also learned that the rivers in spongebob are actually real too.
but how about the underwater fire? and also about why they drink water?
To everyone surprised that SpongeBob got it right, Stephen Hillenburg worked in Marine Biology. He knew his stuff, and put some things in the show as representations of true sea life.
Yea especially the part of the squirrel living in a dome under water

Scientists have yet to find out how or why they use these techniques
There's is yet to be discovered more about this beutyfull creature like why did choose a life in the sea under an dome
"Don't eat me! I'm too little!" Cute. I had no idea they flutter around like that. Always thought they just stick there like oysters.
😭😭😭
Youll be suprised watching how they walk on land.

Aww, and the little guy ran off as soon as he saw the diver lol
I just learned that these guys have about 100 eyes on the inside of their shells, all across the top. Dude definitely saw a big shadowy diver and took off quick 😂

Scallop be like: "I sleep, REAL SHIT, REAL SHIT, REAL SHIT, REAL SHIT, I sleep"
I never knew clams are living creatures that can swim. I always thought they were non moving animals that just lingered at the bottom of the sea floor.
Depends on the species. Oysters are pretty much sedentary, clams can dig & scoot with their foot, & scallops can flutter like this.
@@ZaCloud-Animations___she-her some clams can also swim, like file clams and razor clams, not as impressive as scallop swimming though.
If you always thought they were non moving animals, how did you never know they were living animals?
Except for scallops and their closest non-scallop relatives (file shells), no species of clams, oysters, and other bivalves can swim when fully grown. However pretty much all species can burrow through sediment to get from place to place, tunnelling underneath the seafloor. Some species can also walk on the sea floor or even on land. They're not exactly fast, but they're not permanently stuck to one place like a lot of other filter feeding animals.
Scallops first appeared in the early Triassic period (a little bit before the first dinosaurs), having adapted the powerful muscle which all bivalves use to close their shells for protection into a swimming mechanism.
By flexing that muscle rhythmically, the motion of its shells opening and closing acts like a bird flapping its wings, enabling them to swim. Its an EXTREMELY inefficient system which uses up a ton of energy, so they really only ever swim when they're trying to escape danger.
