Nice work Steve, and really good that the customer knew it was absolutely no fault of yours. Keep going buddy and make sure you keep yourself warm and dry during this sh*tty winter period. We’re not 30 any more! 🙏
Thanks Steve 👍 the tool you are talking about has several names, in the US they call them slickers or tuck pointers and this is where the confusion liyes ,the Americans call any type of repointing tuck pointing whereas tuck pointing in the UK is a totaly different thing though it does exist in the US and Australia, this is why they are often advertised in the UK as tuck pointers but in years gone by we called them finger trowels. The Dutch and German translation for them is jointing nail.
Great job lads as usual, definately not your fault, you've asked and confirmed the measurements , Steve still went back and sorted the door height issues 👍 to me that's a great service and how issues should be resolved. Regards Russ...🙏
nice to see you are nearly there ,if you ever take a trip out to wales there was lots of slate mines there and you can pick pieces up at the side of the road ,but we would not like to live there were you have been working but each to their own also it is great to see you cleaning up not many builders do that good of a job ,thanks for the video
I followed a guy round an industrial estate in wellington who was cutting the sides of the window openings because my boss who was a something head did not allow any tolerance and had ordered the frames tight brick to brick sizes.
Love your videos & the way you overcome & solve issues to get the job done. (Have to watch your time lapses with the sound off due to the dreadful "music" though)
Watching Alex go up and down the ladder reminded me of when I was building my home in Utah. I was carrying sheets of plywood up for the roof, I had my tool bags on and I am a gentleman of substance ( I am fat), I saw the label on the upper part of the ladder that said it was rated for 240 pounds, all added up I was near 400! I had a bit of a panic and went and bought a new ladder straight away! Why was the label on the top of the ladder? I had been using it for about 10 years when I noticed it anyway! Felt a bit stupid, even more when my wife found out! She was not amused.
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Understood. Just thought you could perhaps revisit projects once finished, and add that footage onto the end of future project's videos. I thought you have done that a few times in the past.
I think if this had been my house and given that very few people know how to their job properly anymore, I would have half expected this debacle. At least you had a drawing and the end result worked out. Well done lads.
Hi Steve and Alex why do you not let Alex to do more of the building it is the only way he will learn and gain experience You should teaching ever thing you knows also it would be handy if Alex got his driving license so he can carry on working When his dad gets his operation
🤣🤣🤣 Steve. I am sure you said I'm not even going to mention going home twice but your son Alex made you say it again. That was so funny right out of the book of comedy. Well done Alex.👍 on the job guy's. I hope you are all okay.

amazing how window companies don’t know the answers to simple questions! I’ve had the same issue with them.

Would love to see the job after it is rendered, done and dusted, if you have a few minutes to swing by one rainy day. Cheers.
We can put pictures on instagram but a few pice aren't enough to make a TH-cam video unfortunately 😬🧱👍🏽
