Outstanding that, lads. Looks superb....and the proof of that is that the 3/4 cuts are barely noticeable. Only saddo's like us in the trade that spot things like that, 99% of the general public wouldn't even clock it if it wasn't pointed out to them. 👍
Fantastic job, looks really smart. That new breaker is a beast. I am constantly amazed by the progress of cordless tools in recent years. So much power from batteries these days.
Those tools are awesome a lot of my tools are 110v some as far back as the early 1980s them were the days of donkey jackets an stiff embossed black leather boots and a tartan flask no popping to Screwfix back then 😊
Great video, love the Makita saw for the windows. If your not useing water suppresion then I emagin that you made sure the neighbours were not doing the washing. When I was a lad, a nieboure down the road had pidgeions, they kept crapping on everyones washing. Back then Washing day used to be on a Monday. All the women threatened to cut off his manhood if he didn't keep his coupe closed on Mondays. Guess what he did. There is nothing worse for your health than an angry woman.
All that and Ice Cream. You are living the dream. Seriously though, that cutter is a goody but it does not completely eclipse your Evolution..... Bob (Weston super Mare)
Hope the ‘hip’ goes well, can’t get mine done as the bones are just falling apart…and your soon back on the job feeling like a 30 year old…. I regularly feel like a 30 year old…but have to make do with the missus…lol…
i missed your video but now on catch up those bricks look a bit like London brick as i had to get some for the son in law thanks for the video hope you had a great weekend
Great vid lads, spot on as always. Liked the last frame, just casually plonking your level on the wall top…..and it’s 100%…..that makes you a cool bricky!
Attention to detail yet again sorts you two out from the 'Cowboy Crowd', I sometimes think your customers don't really appreciate the extra lengths you go to - but then I'm sure the nicer one's who buy ice-creams do! Had my knee job early August BTW, now able to walk un-aided 1 mile three times a day! So your hip will give you a new lease of life Steve, and, as winter and shitty weather is approaching it'll give you time to recuperate. Wish you well mate.
Just stumbled across your channel and enjoying your work. I need my garage converting and was looking at how much work is involved in removing the door and bricking up to a window height with toothing in. What sort of price bracket should i expect that to cost?
Hi Steve & Alex. The new tool works great went through like butter. Is it heavy guys with that big battery? Brick work looking fantastic as always guys. Have a good end to the week guys. 👍
Looks like weighs a ton. Proof will on hard concrete buddy. Must admit a do like ma dewalt 9inch cordless saw for accessibility a light over head or what ever. Heavy cutting nothing matching petrol saw more so on ts700. Not convinced with these bigger saws. Soft brick there so will expect it to fly. Will wait till see these saws performing in hard ass material see what does to battery and tool performs time scale. Great work steve Alex. 🤟🤟🤟 Ps will cut quicker with water hose connected a must 😜😜 some helly Hansen water proof trousers. Keep the legs dry lol
thanks for vid. should you always tooth in? ive seen some buildrrs keep the wall and just join up new bit. this esoecislly when garafe is integral to house.
Jesus, what a shit storm of dust from the ‘cut-off’ saw…diamond blade I presume, but really could do with some form of dust suppression (water no available I take it)… That just would not be tolerated on a lot of sites commercial and residential in my neck of the woods…!!
Mint job that looks good. I think we’ve all messed up on damp course pal at least it was only a couple of brick.🧱 What are the Milwaukee levels like mate think I need to get a new level. Great work men 💪🏻🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱
Cheers buddy , very true 🤣. Thoroughly recommend them . Good solid levels mate , pricy but will outlast Stabila . Have a ride down to Preston to William Moore and son . They have got a massive amount of Milwaukee gear in stock and in display. You can try most of the stuff in tethered and with batteries on . They’ve got our levels in too . Oh and the magnets are well strong 💪🏼 🧲🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Cheers pal I seen that store think it was on your instagram looks good I do have some Milwaukee stuff it’s really good. I’ll nip to preston and have a look. Cheers pal 👍🏻

As every garage conversion is different there is no rough cost unfortunately.
Too many variables 🧱👍🏽
Chip butties , and Speckled Hen at the ready!
🤣🧱👍🏽
I hope someone thought to get those ladders out before the window went in, or they are going to need a Sawzall to get them out. 🙂
French doors going in 😉👌🏼🧱👍🏽

Hi Steve & Alex. The new tool works great went through like butter. Is it heavy guys with that big battery? Brick work looking fantastic as always guys. Have a good end to the week guys. 👍
It’s heavy but we’ll balanced . 👌🏼. Such a great machine .
You too pal 🧱👍🏽
Oh my gosh I need this, window opening needs cutting out the catnic is already in the wall, can you connect a hose pipe to the saw
Yes you can 🧱👍🏽
When are you getting your hip done Steve?
Good question 😔🧱👍🏽
Nice your brick work skill set shows. Alex needs a napkin 😊
Cheers , he certainly did 🤣🤣🧱👍🏽
Always cut toothing top to bottom....
Absolutely 🧱👍🏽

Hi is your van well secure with all that equipment in there as normal locks on vans are no good
I bought the van off a good friend and he had installed the extra dead locks 🔒 🧱👍🏽
nice job as always 💯👍..but cant see a hip fund donation link ?
Hi James it’s near the comments but we also have a PayPal link now which is
@BWSAA .
Thanks James 🙏🏽🧱👍🏽
What saftey boots are they steve if u don't mind me asking? They look comfortable 👍🏻
Hi pal, mine are cofra ( very comfortable 👌🏼. Alex’s are Buckbootz also very comfortable 🥰🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild cheers mate, had a few crap pairs recently and ended up with achillies tendinitis, always limping off site every night lol
The cofras have Plastic toe caps and mid sole so they are lighter and warmer than steelies . The wellies are the same 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
thanks for vid. should you always tooth in? ive seen some buildrrs keep the wall and just join up new bit. this esoecislly when garafe is integral to house.
Always tooth in if possible. Better job and looks better too 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
Hows your hip today Steve?.
I have bad days and worse days , definitely struggling now 😢🧱👍🏽
Wish you better ASAP...
@dfentan Thanks very much 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽
Doesn’t it do your head in not having racking in your van and just piling everything in
Yes and no 👍🏽🧱
Im not a builder so I am wondering why you are builing a double skin wall under a window when the rest of the building is just single skin.
There is brick pillar at each end, plus it is getting dry lined at some point.
Cheers KHM 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽

Does Alex get time and a half on Saturdays or does it just roll over to his 401k? 😂

All kidding aside, great work! Quality is always there. Putting a proper footing there sets you apart from most bricklayers.

If you Google it you will get a better explanation than I can write here 💻🧱👍🏼
