I would normally only watch a lot of content in free time and honestly I have heard and practiced it all at some point in my life already. However the reason to comment here is simply because it really vibes with me what you explained so simplistically and your calm yet effervescent life energy is really endearing. cheers bro for the beautiful work. Keep up the good work and be blessed.
Hey Bro, when talking about more spiritual things, me too I had a lot of difficulties understanding the concepts, because its not that much about an idea! Here we are searching a feeling! So the best tip I can give you to feel that feeling of detachment, is to sit down in a silent place and start observing your thoughts... I can't tell you when, but after some time you will feel a feeling of detachment from your thoughts, body and sensations... That's it!
The term you're looking for is called - Depersonalization. It's one of the main personality traits of murderers. You're feeling things for a reason, to shut out feelings is a very psychotic viewpoint. The way you deal with things is what causes character building. People that live like you have never dealt with their emotions - you mask it by eschewing. Eventually that comes out in the form of a serious illness - like cancer, or you go off the deep end and eventually strangle a baby. Either way, good luck - Jesus is the only answer.
Thanks for taking the time to write this comment! I am always open for other point of views. Personally I don't know the exact definition of depersonalisation, but what I can imagine, is that Jesus had to be amazing at being detached from his body, thoughts and feelings! He literally chose to die on a cross, because of his faith in God! Isn't that the ultimate example of being detached from his physical being? Because if he actually was being attached and thought that through the death of his body and mind he would die, than he probably wouldn't have done it, right? Instead, at least I think, he felt that he was none of that, he was the spirit (which I call the observer) and so would continue living even after his physical death... let me know what you think!
