My hair stopped falling out after I did these things. I used natural hair masks like avocado and yogurt. I avoided brushing my hair when it was wet to prevent it from breaking. Once a week, I massaged my scalp with hair oil. I washed my hair 1-2 times a week with liiitleextra cocoonniion shampoo.

I have been using this Cocoonioon shampoo over the last 5 months. Some shampoos can leave the scalp feeling dry and itchy, but I didn’t experience that with this one. My hair loss has reduced a bit. In general, it’s a good product.

Holy moly! Thank God I refuse every single drug my doctor suggest. He gave up years ago. Haven't seen him in 4 years anyway and I'm still here living the keto lifestyle. I'm a 74 year old woman doing great. These doctors just scare the hell out of you, just change what you're eating.

For almost 18 months I had stopped seeing Doctors for ordering me medicines that was making me lose hair and bleed profusely and when I brought it to these doctors attention all they could offer is " Well my other patients don't complain about this; they don't have these complaints!" 😏🤬😢

That's what I'm working on I have hypothyroidism & that & hyperthyroidism. It can cause problems I lost my eyebrow hairs from radio active iodine done to me. It was because I had hyperthyroidism. I have really thick hair I have had Cancer twice I got scared of losing my hair. Luckily I didn't have to do chemotherapy. Because they got my Cancer early twice. But because of the mastectomies I have had a difficult time losing weight. I quit psychiatric medications because of the side effects. My doctor gave me promission to go off of the drugs. They're not healthy for you.

Two years ago, I had a heart attack and was prescribed 2 of the medications on your list. I recently notice a definite thinning on the front of my head. My new dermatologist asked if I added any new medications. Although I said "Yes", she didn't assess my list thoroughly. She is treating me for inflammation on my scalp. I plan to be more adamant that my doctors change my medication.

  • @juicelareina750

I had hair loss taking meds for blood pressure, I had so many health issues before Carnivore so I've taken majority of those drug classes on a steady basis. 🤦🏻‍♀️
My hair is definitely thinner.. mainly around my crown. I'm hoping that being on Carnivore will help restore it since it's helped with so many other issues that I had. This is only my third month on Carnivore so I know it will take some time to catch up and undo all the years of being unhealthy. At least while in this process I am feeling so much better. Thank you Dr. Berry for always going above and beyond to keep us informed.

Hello Doctor- I think you mention ketoconazole a anti fungal as creating hair loss. But below summary says actual helps to prevent hair loss. Please could you check this.
Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication that’s widely used to treat skin and nail conditions like candidiasis, ringworm and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
It’s also a common ingredient in many hair loss shampoos and a substance that you’ll often find recommended, usually in the form of Nizoral shampoo, as part of a hair loss prevention stack.
Ketoconazole is scientifically linked to improvements in hair growth, making it worth using as a male pattern baldness treatment. It’s also easy to apply, since all that’s required is a quick wash in the shower once a week.
While there isn’t quite as much scientific data about ketoconazole and hair loss as there is for minoxidil and finasteride, most studies related to ketoconazole and baldness show that it can be effective for improving hair growth.
One study from 1998 compared ketoconazole and minoxidil to see which had the best effects on hair growth. The researchers discovered that 2% ketoconazole shampoo increased the size and proportion of anagen hair follicles at a similar rate to the minoxidil spray.
There are also animal studies showing that regular use of ketoconazole significantly stimulates the rate of hair growth, even in hair follicles that aren’t usually affected by balding (such as the DHT-immune hair follicles on the back of the head).
Right now, there just isn’t enough data to conclusively say that ketoconazole prevents baldness or definitely regrows hair. However, the scientific evidence that’s currently available does show measurable improvements in hair growth when people use a ketoconazole shampoo.

Actually ketoconazole prevent hair loss if that is caused by scalp fungal infection and inflammation and that is applied locally on scalp.
Oral ketoconazole when enters the blood then it contributes toward hair loss.

Dr. Berry, this is not about my hair, this is about my heels .
I use to get cracked, bleeding heels when I was on a high fiber, low saturated fat diet cause I was so scared I would die of a heart attack like my mom did at 68.
After I started keto, the dry skin stopped, the bleeding cracked heels stopped.
I’m 4 years into keto and the skin on my heels is getting as smooth as a baby’s bottom. So excited to see what my skin will be like when I’ve been on it for 10 years.
But I do need help with leg cramps something awful.
It wasn’t caused by keto cause I’ve had them since 2006 and I started keto 2017 .
The only thing I can think of is that I am insulin resistant because my cells are not able to get the nutrients...even Stevia stalls my weight loss, and I think that is do to the insulin resistance ...
not only the sugar is not getting out of my system but the nutrients, like magnesium, and potassium which I have plenty in my body but it’s just not getting into my cells because of the insulin resistance. .
Nobody can help me . I’ve tried doing the fasting but because I’m gonna be 72 and I’m insulin resistant, I get nauseous if I don’t eat or I’ll get dizzy.
I wish you could help me ... please .

    • @HoneyDrake
      @HoneyDrake 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Actually, since I’ve last written that note to you dr. Berry, I’ve had a break through with the severe leg cramp problem I had ... my daughter told me to get off dairy and start eating keto friendly fruits and celery juice till noon . Since I started that I have no more severe leg cramping at night ....gone...and I’m able to sleep through the night. I haven’t slept through the night in over 10 years . Nothing took the cramps away and I spent hundreds of dollars on magnesium supplements and other supplements thinking they would help, but never did. What has worked is Celery juice followed by fruits like blackberries, blueberries, watermelon, strawberries, avocados and tangerines, till noon...doing that has taken the cramping away . I thought it would raise my blood sugar but it hasn’t . I test my blood in the morning and it’s at 90. Anything below 100 is good. I’m even able to walk and workout again, with energy off the charts good...I hope this helps someone if they are battling with chronic leg cramps .

My partner has been "diagnosed" with "Frontal fibrosing alopecia(- is a form of scarring hair loss affecting the hair margin on the front of the scalp. This happens due to inflammation and destruction of the hair follicles. There may also be hair loss from the scalp near the ears and from the eyebrows)". Her eyebrows have all but gone and her hair has receded above the ears...they've been giving her various drugs that don't work anyway and this has been ongoing for 6-7 years now through menopause, but would a trial/test of the carnivore diet be worth a shot to try and halt this? If it is indeed "due to inflammation"...I believe it is irreversible ie the follicles are now gone permanently. The biggest issue would be re-introduction of foods as this is a very slow process that is going on so would be difficult to quantify any change??

Thanks for the info, I’m on several of these. No wonder I feel like I don’t have very much hair. But it’s a catch 22. You have to take medicine to live. I need to check your description. I don’t tank you mention steroids but I’m not sure.

What medications can you take to prevent hairloss. I don't take Ibuprofen very much anymore. It can cause liver damage if taken too much or all the time.

90% of medical practitioners don't know shit about the pharmaceuticals they prescribe. They trust everything they're told by their boss and pharmaceutical sales reps. Instead of doing their own research.

I have been on a low dose birth control pill of progesterone and estrogen since I was 15. I am turning 30 this year. My OB/GYN doctors have told me that birth control pills do not cause hair loss even though I told them I started losing a lot of hair suddenly within the last 2-3 years. I was vitamin d deficient which I’ve read can cause that but I’m still losing hair, hair loss and alopecia do not run in my family. I had my thyroid levels checked, all normal. I’ve also developed a really random hive condition named dermatographic urticaria within the last 4 years as well and had other scalp issues prior to hair loss that stopped prior to hair loss. I’m getting a little irritated with doctors. I have a feeling it’s my birth control but im also afraid to get off of it because I don’t want my cycles to be all wonky and irregular.

Any possibility that detoxing from Valium has caused my hair to stop growing?!! I think my scalp is in the telegenic phase. I’m not on any medication. Could I have a deficiency in electrolytes?!!
I live in a 5G test area. I have so many things going wrong with my body. I have narrowed it into a deficiency in electrolytes, battling Hair Loss , G.I. tract, problems, tachycardia, skin, and nail issues.
Are you familiar with microwave syndrome?
I have been dealing with this for a year and after visiting a cardiologist, Rheumatologist, Gastroenterologist , the ER twice, the urgent care twice, and many many other doctors, I only got a little relief yesterday after adding some electrolytes to my water
    Anyway, I welcome any advice
It is definitely the chicken and the egg, but I’m a woman and I have lost all my hair in a matter of 10 months time
What’s coming back and is growing and completely gray
Thank you for your time ❤

Hi doctor berry. Insurance list you nention thyroid meds...levothyroxine, but you don't discuss it in the video...is it an error in the list or you just forgot to mention it? I currently take it for my hashimotos and hypothyroidism and always have loss of hair....could this be why? My endocrinologist is not very open to checking more then my tsh so I'm not sure if stopping it is a hood idea since he says my hashimotos can't be cured there is not way to stop it. Any tips?thank you

Hydroxychloroquine caused hair loss for me. I stopped it and hair started coming back, but have been on Concerta, now on Aderall and hair is thinning again 😢. I thought it was just from switching to carnivore, but now I'm rethinking that thought. I need the medication, it is the only one that helps with the RSD. Is there something to help the hair growth while taking the medication?

Dr. Berry, would you please do a video on chronic pain, its effect on the body and weight loss specifically? Not the meds, the pain itself. I've been pretty strict keto with IF for a year, blood meter shows low-end blood glucose, ketones regularly 1.5 mmols to 5ish, and my weight loss stalled months ago with ~15 lbs to go. I know there could be others factors at play, but pain seems the most obvious reason, and if it is I suppose I'll just have to live with the extra pounds lol. Thank you for all that you do... I recommend your vids to everyone!

Check for hidden parasitic inflammatory infections. 3D cone scan, gi map, blood tests, stool test, gi effect test. Go to a naturopath who understands and has experience on how to treat hidden infection. Regular doctors are clueless.

About 2 weeks ago I stopped the statin just as an experiment as well as doing ketovore and intermittent fasting. I don't seem to be shedding as much hair and hoping this will help

Prednisone can cause hair loss? Can blood thinners also cause hair loss? I’m on Elequis. I’ve been on prednisone since May 2020 and just started blood thinners in April 2021. I’ve been losing a ton of hair…enough to see the difference when my hair is in a ponytail or braid. Also just when I style my hair. I’m on these medications for my autoimmune cirrhosis of the liver but I’m at a loss of what to do for my hair 💔

I was diagnosed with scarring alopecia, LPP type, and it's an autoimmune disease. In also 64 and have been on estradiol patches for at least 8 yrs. All the hair on my legs fell out, which I didn't complain about...no more shaving...heck yeah. But a couple of yrs ago I noticed severe thinning of my hair on my head. Now it's scaly and terribly itchy. Could these patches be causing this?
