If you forgot your Apple ID password :
- change your Apple Id password using setting app
** Reset your Apple ID password using Apple Support App:
- if you keeps getting pop up to enter you Apple ID password
- If you have other devices signed in with the same Apple ID
- If you don't have other devices signed in with the same Apple ID
- If you don't have access to the trusted phone number or no other devices

What if they didn’t send me the message to reset the password to the new number?
i don’t have old contact number
Cannot reenter my mail accidentally deleted it so when it refers me to check the email Apple sent me it doesn’t exist which is why I’m trying to reinstall my Mail, how does the system not know this
I already started account recovery but my new phone is coming tomorrow and I have to wait until Friday night so 2 days from this comment can I cancel and do this method to bypass the waiting
Yes! You can cancel account recovery. you suppose to get an email after 24 hours when you started account recovery. inside it will see if you want to cancel it or if you didn't request it which mean the same thing so you can cancel it..
If you already in account recovery and you’ll be able to cover it by Friday then I recommend to wait just Incase. You can wait for one day. 😊

Hi i did the same method but apple forced me to choose one of my phone numbers (trusted one). Thankfully i am able to use one or them but it just fails to send a verification code to the number. What to do at this point? I forgot the recovery key too.

Hi, if Apple doesn’t have enough info to verify you then you be forced to Account Recovery. So in your case, you just wait 12 days then you should receive a text message with a link to reset your password.

@@magnet6332 Hi , actually I had did this method and apple support give me a waiting time to receive a verification code to the new number but the waiting time is finished still I didn’t received verification code and the link you have mentioned 😢
