I've reached the "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes" with no option to enter a passcode. I tried your procedure and I get the error messages like you do, but I do not gain the option to enter a new passcode.
Oddly I think I can recall the passcode now. I also have my Apple ID and what I believe is my password for my AppleID.

I found a IPHONE walking my dog. It is nice looking. The info from your video did not let me unlock the phone because after I type *#0000*# then hit call it ask for a passcode. It always ask for the passcode when in the emergency call option. I try typing these codes and it just ask for the passcode. What should I do?
