SE Asia: Vietnam Part II

Vietnam, lots to offer the lucky. This portion of the trip was spent in the mountains of Northwestern Vietnam. I was able to join a hiking adventure which had a homestay with a family from one of the hill tribes. We ventured out through the vast amount of rice terraces on a guided hike for 3 days. The colors, varieties of greens, we definitely don't have this back in Chicago. Tag teaming the tour with a handful of people from France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, it's always great to experience other cultures to expand the brain, expand how one is able to see and connect. Added element when you can enjoy a perspective from those who have also traveled from a different part of the globe, with a different upbringing and set of life experiences.
