Man.... You are strong as far as that goes. I do let what others think get to me waaaay too much so I can totally relate. But you've moved past that and are so confident and proud of who you are. I hope I can get to that point. Thanks!

It's amazing how the smallest critical comment can affect us to such a degree; sometimes in a lasting way. I can totally relate to that. Fortunately, I've gotten better with this over the years, altho depending on the day and my mood, I can be more vulnerable to it. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what anyone thinks. I am what God made me, and He certainly knew who & what I was before I even existed. Obviously He's fine with me, so I can be too. Anyways, I have a very GOOD opinion of you and it's always a treat seeing your lovely face.

+Paul Tacoma Thanks for the message, means a lot! Sounds like you have a solid head on your shoulders, and as you know it's hard to develop especially after going through the motions for so many years, but props to you man!

I am so GLAD you made another video! Your looking great!!!!! By the way. I understand where your coming from I let a persons comment affect me for a long time. I am over it now but it had a profound impact on me. People should be carful on what they say because it can mess a person up sometimes.

+Gary Pevas I hear you for sure, hopefully as time goes on we are all able to educate each other on the idea of being aware. Because while people can say and do harmful things, we all have the option in how we react. Thanks for the note and encouragement, means a lot!

Hey buddy. FYI: Not sure why, but tried to watch this but message 'This video is not available' came up. Tried to watch it on my iPhone. I'll try later on my computer but thought I'd give a heads up cause others may have the same issue. Take care.

Can I ask, during your coming out journey, did any of your friends or even family react negatively? Or friends say they are ok with it, but then kinda distance themselves from you?

+JDR 88 Yea totally, ask away!
All of my friends reacted in a positive/supportive way for the most part, so I can't be upset about that! One of my good buddies from grade school was a little unsure of how to respond at first. He got super quiet, so instead of being uncomfortable, I just kept sharing my life and journey up to that point so he could get a good understanding of what I had been going through.
Interesting story...He was my workout partner at the time, so we went to the gym together a few days later. When we went to the guys locker room to change, he definitely made it awkward and did not change near me. I shake my head laughing about this right now because him and I discussed it recently, and he definitely knows he messed up haha. But that's what he felt he needed to do at the time, so I tried not to let it bother me too much. I have realized that everyone needs time and space to analyze what is going on in life (myself included) so if some friends or family reacted differently then I would have liked, I just made sure to give them time and space.
Hope that helps man, definitely still good friends with my buddy and nowadays we can easily talk about anything from my sexuality to work problems and anything in between. Especially helps that I can be my true and authentic self!!
