- After coming out to those close to you, the hardest work is done. Especially if you are ok with other people sharing about your sexuality with other friends and family you may not feel it necessary to tell yourself!
But let's say your grandparents found out about your sexuality from your parents...and you wish you would have had the strength to tell them yourself, now what can you do?

Just wonderful to hear music live! I had a few violin lessons in my early thirties so even though that appears like a simple piece you played, I know it takes skill and practice. Best luck to you and thanks for sharing your coming out videos.

Hello! You probably don't remember me but again... Thank you for your videos. They have helped me out. I was struggling telling my family about my sexuality due to their religious beliefs. Anyway, a few days ago I got the nerve to call my sister who I am close with in every other way to tell her. After an hour and a half phone call, some tears and laughs, she said they loved me no matter what and I can talk to her about anything. That was a relief. You are so right in that the people who are closest to you and love the most are the hardest ones to tell. Not sure who else in my family has been told, the hardest ones now know which helps.

I think it's awesome that you're out and proud, but there comes a point when you move forward and expand. You should make more one on one videos where you talk about yourself, things you've gone through/are going through.. We're past the coming out stage, I think. ;) Still think you're a cool guy though.

Hello again. As I mentioned in a comment on one of your other fantastic videos, you are a great inspiration to so many people (including me!). Although it's still not perfect yet, in this millennium it's so much easier to publicly come out (including to friends and family) than it was in the late 1960s, 70s, and 80s, when I was your age. Back then (to me) there were derogatory words used that were more insulting than the word "faggot". Words such as "sissy, queer, fairy, homo", all with connotations of being a circus freak. Of course we are just as good as any straight person, kind of analogous to someone who is left handed is just as good as someone who is right handed. By being ourselves we can literally breathe once and for all. Whoever is the lucky guy to become your boyfriend, he will have won the jackpot! You are amazing (I'm trying to remember your name, I think it's John?) and you're an angel sent from up above!

On the music clips, I always thought you could play up to 20 seconds or something without getting in trouble. I honestly don't remember where I heard that. I wanted to create a playlist on spotify that follows along with the songs I selected...maybe it's time to put one together. Good idea! (and definitely checking into the 20 second rule; hopefully it's as unlikely of a truth as the "5 second rule" :) )

Not sure if you still monitor this channel. But it would be interesting to know where you are today in 2018. You talked a lot about coming out. But you never talked about how you’re living your gay life. Dating? Engaged? What are your aspirations. Marriage, children? So many people talk about coming out, but never give updates on where their lives are currently. Makes me hate these videos sometimes. So much missing.
I hear ya man, I definitely plan on getting back into vlogs. I have been posting blogs recently from a SE Asia backpacking trip I have been on.
