Welding a Sterling 10.5 Limited Slip Differential - Locker on the cheap!!

Lockers are a must if you want to do any type of serious wheeling. My 1 ton YJ has a welded Dana 60 front axle and a Limited Slip sterling 10.5 rear axle. The limited slip in the rear did almost nothing for me off road so its time to change that. Trying to ball on a budget, the best way to lock up the rear is to weld it. Welding a standard open diff is pretty straight forward but a limited slip has some extra steps and challenges. Bet that wont slip now. Good thing about the rag catching on fire is that the oil was burned off and it was preheated at the same time

Its not a limited slip, no slippage can occur with welded gears it just a lincoln locker
