Thank you for this video! I think I accidentally put the new thermostat in upside down. That little nub that's sticking out is at the bottom. Do you think this could cause problems? Also do you know what it's for? Thanks again for your work
It's easy .I just flush the whole antifreeze and put new terminal stat timing belt and water pump and I have 2 big back operations I work on all my car's since I was a kid. I don't trust micanics..
I love watching and supporting your hard work ❤👍stay blessed 🤲
You are welcome thanks 😊 🙏
Great vid. There was no RTV before - why do you need some when you reassemble?
Yes u were right. I did it for my peace of mind.
@@diykhan Thanks; just checking. Getting ready to do this real soon!
Can I use the usual silicone? (like the one for the bathrooms) thanks for the video brother
No you can not. It has to be high temperature silicone compatible to go on engine block.
Thank you for this video!

You should always put the thermostat right way round for various reasons. I would take it out n put it right when round.
@@diykhan Thank you for your quick response! Will definitely do that, thanks!
