That thing is already an LT. I actually don't think the super sport series gets LT models. There is no P1 LT or Senna LT. I think those get GTR specs. Unclear if the speed tail will get a gtr version though.

My dad had a ‘75 Porsche 914 in Porsche Continental Orange, which is a very similar color to this interior, and he always called it his little red car. My family has always been convinced that he was just a little colorblind, because we could not convince him that it was indeed orange. It’s possible that Doug has the same issue.

@@noeyedeer4227 I think McLaren is even worse at that than Porsche, Porsche has a ridiculous number of trim levels/special editions of a couple of models, whereas McLaren has a ton of different models that are hard to tell apart

@Amc547 Warlord actually that's the good and bad thing about McLarens. Besides their reliability issues, the fact that they all look so similar they take a massive depreciation hit (except the LT models). And in a few years you can get the same car for half the price. Not that I can afford it at that price either, but just saying.
I work for the NWS. Cloudy and overcast are the same thing. Some sun would be mostly cloudy, partly cloudy or partly sunny. We use cloudy and overcast interchangeably. Just FYI.
All their challenge cars seem to unintentionally have that option. Seriously I don't know what the stereo sounds like but I might consider deleting it but the AC would for sure be a must because it's 92° right now where I live.
@Finished Finnish There are just some concessions you can't make in the automotive world and for me one of them is AC. Even if you get caught out in a rain storm without AC chances are really really good you will end up with fogged up windows. I know a car like this you would try to avoid driving in the rain but things happen. I try to not drive my Trailblazer in the ran because the front tires are 28x4.5x17 and the rears are 325/40/17 drag radials. Today I had a Dr appointment and it was raining when I left. Any throttle input at 60 mph and below causes the torque converter to unlock and flare up to it's 3600 rpm stall speed and suddenly you have a 4 door SUV skating around. The impression I get is most super car stereos are trash anyway and besides a catless straight piped 720s sounds pretty good. I can only imagine how this one would sound with the exit where it is. I can't remember if McLaren has the waste gate in the exhaust housing or not but if you could straight pipe it from the turbo with oval shaped pipes and stack the waste gate pipes on top of each other in the middle like the F40 I bet it would sound amazing. Especially with some of the exhaust wheel technology available now.

From about mid April to usually the end of September we average 90°-95° with 85% and higher humidity. I've had cars without AC and cars without a heater, it's much easier to go without a heater because we use AC about 9-10 months a year.

I used to have a diecast toy I played with as a youngster, as well as a poster of one up on my wall. I think it’s neat how it looks like an updated F40 as if it were the same model just a newer generation. And the Enzo (or F60) losses that. And of course for good reasons like aero and what not. Just the F50 screams Ferrari! ...and the Enzo? not so much to me 🤷🏻♂️ both amazing machines you can’t refute that 👍🏼

My depression is maybe 50% weather dependent,, My vision is effected too... That cloudy/overcast setting, not only tells you about your lap times,, but may give you a more detailed self awareness (your confidence[etc...] level based on the weather)... but you are funny, and my wife doesn't get jealous when I tell her I love Doug .. love ya Doug
The thing is - I'd like to see him review some actual semi-affordable cars - not only the supreme Banker's exotics. Like the BMW 4 Gran Coupe or the Mercedes C43. Those still make very cool noises. He did sometimes like the Maserati Ghibi and Porsche Cayman but not nearly often enough. Not everyone has $100K holes burning in their pockets like you Doug!

Now I just watch Savage Garage, Clettus and Tavarish. I'm starting to lose interest in Hoovie because he never seems to modify his cars and the "I bought the cheapest *insert car here*" is getting a little old. Tavarish Savage and Clettus atleast build and modify stuff. Vinwiki has pretty good stories.

overcast = no sun, cloudy = some sun. This will definitely affect the track since the temperature can be completely different.

@Finished Finnish There are just some concessions you can't make in the automotive world and for me one of them is AC. Even if you get caught out in a rain storm without AC chances are really really good you will end up with fogged up windows. I know a car like this you would try to avoid driving in the rain but things happen. I try to not drive my Trailblazer in the ran because the front tires are 28x4.5x17 and the rears are 325/40/17 drag radials. Today I had a Dr appointment and it was raining when I left. Any throttle input at 60 mph and below causes the torque converter to unlock and flare up to it's 3600 rpm stall speed and suddenly you have a 4 door SUV skating around. The impression I get is most super car stereos are trash anyway and besides a catless straight piped 720s sounds pretty good. I can only imagine how this one would sound with the exit where it is. I can't remember if McLaren has the waste gate in the exhaust housing or not but if you could straight pipe it from the turbo with oval shaped pipes and stack the waste gate pipes on top of each other in the middle like the F40 I bet it would sound amazing. Especially with some of the exhaust wheel technology available now.
@@ehodzic155 In the south come summer time we frequently have afternoon thunderstorms and rain. It's 5:49pm right now and is 86° and overcast almost mid September. From about mid April to usually the end of September we average 90°-95° with 85% and higher humidity. I've had cars without AC and cars without a heater, it's much easier to go without a heater because we use AC about 9-10 months a year.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But the F50 holds a special place in my heart. I used to have a diecast toy I played with as a youngster, as well as a poster of one up on my wall. I think it’s neat how it looks like an updated F40 as if it were the same model just a newer generation. And the Enzo (or F60) losses that. And of course for good reasons like aero and what not. Just the F50 screams Ferrari! ...and the Enzo? not so much to me 🤷🏻♂️ both amazing machines you can’t refute that 👍🏼

Yeah I mean if one day you want to hear a screaming V12 behind your head running through gears or want to feel the boost of an 80’s twin turbo V8 (scary turbo lag if your wheel is turned when it kicks in haha) then yeah F40 and F50 are the pick for sure... LaFerrari takes the cake for me tho 👍🏼

The thing is - I'd like to see him review some actual semi-affordable cars - not only the supreme Banker's exotics.
Like the BMW 4 Gran Coupe or the Mercedes C43. Those still make very cool noises. He did sometimes like the Maserati Ghibi and Porsche Cayman but not nearly often enough. Not everyone has $100K holes burning in their pockets like you Doug!

Now I just watch Savage Garage, Clettus and Tavarish. I'm starting to lose interest in Hoovie because he never seems to modify his cars and the "I bought the cheapest *insert car here*" is getting a little old. Tavarish Savage and Clettus atleast build and modify stuff. Vinwiki has pretty good stories.
