Many of you had questions regarding Karan’s salary based on the graphic seen in the video.
At Axis Mutual Funds, his package was 2 crores of salary and 2 crores of ESOPS during his exit from the company in 2018.
His entry salary was similar to what he was earning at Goldman Sachs.
We have taken the most he earned at each career stage for a more straightforward visual representation.

My father was a chief engineer in FACT(PSU) in 1993 and his salary was 9000 Rs and take home was 6500 Rs in 1993; So I decided to join a private company in 2004 ; But now my friend who joined FACT, take home is 2 lakhs and mine is 90K; My advice for youngsters; Please keep changing companies every 3 years and get 30% hike on every 3 year; I stuck on to the same company from 2004 and all my friends who kept on jumping are taking around 2.2L per month. You might fall in love with the company; but you are just an instrument for the company

I fully understand.... but assuming you fell in love with the company, that in itself might be the environment many people are craving for, without which they talk about quiet quitting, leaving 9 to 5, don't work for money and other such philosophies ... Not against what you said, but its a possibility i gather from your words 👍

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

Hi Sharan.. this video is very insightful.. thank you.
Can you please enlighten as to where can we park our funds for emergency savings? As FDs also do not give a great interest rate now !!!

Pls seek advice from Sharan’s courses or take advice from the one percent club. Or take advice from an MFD. There are short term fixed income funds that can be used for emergency funds.
