I'm 68 years old and since I was a kid I always loved going to the tv department in any store. Yes I know it's weird but they just fascinate me for whatever reason. Love your presentation!
I think the reason I like TV’s so much is because my dad would not allow them in our house (back in the early 80’s). I loved playing Atari at my cousins on his 13 inch black and white☺️
In the UK, most of the larger OLED/QD-OLED tv's have a 5 year warranty at Costco, though they seem to only stock up to 77". We also have a store called "Richer Sounds", and they generally give a 6 year warranty on TV's, and guarantee to beat ANY comparable audio visual equipment price, if it's in stock with a competitor.
My Best Buy is so customer focused, they are the best bet in the area. I do a lot of research and know the prices and Best Buy will match anyway. They are awesome. Thanks for all your hard work Brian. Always a great job my friend....
halo mr Brian's wat tv you are recommended lg qned mini led or qned 81 or hisens u7k of cors im talking about the best proccecor sharpness cleaning image upscaling and so on how the best proccecor lg alfa 7 gen 6 or hisens u7k very good processor how is better
Thank you for all the good information! Amazon had the new Hisense 75U8N listed for $1848 and delivering after the 20th but now they've changed the price to $1999 same price as Best buy. 😵💫
I’ve never seen YES “Without” Jon and I never will. Especially now with Chris and Alan gone. This was my first time seeing them (90125 Tour) in Philly and it was excellent. Seen them tons of times and got their autographs on the YES-Years Box Set at an in store signing (!!). Jon, Chris, Alan, Steve, & Rick. Also saw the UNION tour a few times (!!), that was awesome.
I’ve always been a fan of Sony TV’s for the natural colors. Would you recommend Samsung qn85c or Sony x90l in 85”? Mostly Netflix, Apple TV, TH-camtv, live sports, and Amazon prime streaming.
The X90L has better upscaling of low bit rate content . The Samsung x85c has better blacks and is more colorful. That said if you like more natural the Sony is the way to go.
We bought a 55” C3 last month for the bedroom and are happy with it. Every time I see a s90c I get a little fomo creeping in because they just look different. But I remember hearing the s90c was a roll of the dice in regards to getting a panel with no issues. Is this still the case or are they considered a good reliable tv?
@gerryortiz7276 your use case is important. If you use the TV for streaming and movie watching with some gaming the a95L is a QD-OLED with better processing. The G3 is a bit brighter and is better for sports and gaming especially on Pc. Both are very good
I’m leaning towards getting the LG 83” G4 when it comes out but only if the price is reasonable. I’m guessing it’ll be over $6K initially so I’ll wait til it’s under $5500 or so. I emailed Robert Zohn a few times today and he said it might come out by April. Thx Robert!
i think i did very big mistake when i went to best buy, because i didnt listen to some of my freinds and famlies who had very bad experience with same best buy store..even my niece said same thing about her experiences with bestbuy when she got her laptop..
@Brain do you want think the QN85c is better than the QN90c?! I wanted the 90c 85”! Didn’t see one in this video. What’s the difference? Also why the QN95c are not available.
It all depends! The Q90C has different panels types for different sizes. VA vs ADS. Both are very good. The Q90C is higher end in theory yet the QN85C looks more punchy in the store. I'd grab the more affordable one and enjoy. The QN95C is excellent and better than both but was a limited release and very expensive.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY one more question if you dint mind. Will these tv’s ever go down in price? If so when? Cause I know the new models will be out soon.
@brownskinb5084 Yes, they will drop again once the replacement models begin to release . The challenge is that Neo QLED line up is staggered . What I mean is it's hard to know when they arrive and when the previous group will be gone.
I bought a 60" Mitsu RPV for 'only' $3K. What is funny, is that now I look for picture quality. it was totally absent in that monster weighing 300 lbs.
Brian, I just subscribed after watching a few of your informative videos this weeked . I just purchased a Sony 65" A75L and have 14 days to try it out. I saw that the Samsung S90 was probably the most comparable and just want to make sure i made rhe right decision as the Sony is not as bright ast the Samsung but i dont want an artificial look. Your thoughts? Thanks
Welcome to the community and family. Great question! The S90 is a QD-OLED with more color and is brighter. It's a better gaming TV. The A75L is actually still better built with XR clear processing. It's better at most content you'll stream and watch in regards to movies.
I like the Q90c! There isn't going to be big upgrades for the Neo Qled line up in 2024. It's a good puck. I'd wait until the 2024 line up is released to see if it drops further. It may only drop a few hundred
Still learning about TVs and what to look out for. Unfortunately my area only has Samsclub and no Costco, curious on your thoughts on Sam's Club options Edit: ahh just got to 11 minutes where you bring up Sam's lol. Btw ty for all you do! Going to be buying our new upgrade very soon and this channel and your work is an incredible resource
My absolute pleasure! Sam's club is worth checking out. They may have more options online. Just make sure you check their return policy. If you're learning about TV'S you are in the right place.
Not specifically, but no questions asked . No questions asked my friend. So chances are being a member they'd cover you. Burn in is much more rare these days. Thank you for watching
Dear Brian I just bought the Sony A95k for 840 brand new .do you think I should have bought the Samsung oled s90c open box instead ?I still have time to return if the Samsung is 10xbetter
Hi Brian! What would you recommend for an 83 inch OLED TV mainly for streaming movies: Sony a90J of 2021 or the 83 inch A80L OLED TV (without MLA technology)? Or would you even go down in size to 77 inch for the a80L with MLA technology? So difficult!
Excellent question! I can't recommend the A90J unless it's very cheap. The A80L at 83" has the a90J chasis and heatsink, so it's superior as it also has XR clear. The 77" A80L doesn't have MLA. The LG G3 does but I'd still recommend tye 83" A80L for your use case.
You mention a possible extra year warranty buying at Costco. But, many prefer to buy a TV at Costco at or even slightly higher than the best price elsewhere because of the included 3 year Allstate warranty on TVs over $1000. You can see these tags posted next to the prices in your video, yet you never mention it.
I simply don't mention the All-State insurance as it's an extra cost and it isn't a " no questions asked " . I've mentioned it in other vids. Thanks for the information my friend
