I did try to look
Fluid flushing removes precious metal coatings from the DPF and SCR catalysts. Yes, ceramic DPF substrate has metal coatings. Any liquid causes permanent damage to the DPF. BMW documentation allows for one fluid based flush, but only one, for that reason. Using chemical flushes or water will reduce the DPFs effectiveness and eventually the clogging issues will return. The only proper way is to remove it and bake it using the right machine and process. Even then, issues will return if you do not correct the root cause. DPFs do not produce soot, engines do. Why? Because things have changed since it was new... sensors have degraded, causing loss of efficient combustion control. EGR system then gets soot buildup, further throwing off air/egr fraction control. Glowplugs, cooling systems, oil quality, air filters.... on and on it goes with the list of things that directly affect the combustion and regen processes, which are far more integrated than 99% of mechanics are taught.
Please tell me you don't have to move the ECU to change the air filter
Looks like the ECU is cooled by the intake air!
You can lift it up on the lid but you need to be super careful with the wiring. The ECU sits in the filtered air to keep it cooled.
@ORileysAutos I have the same car, soot content 30g, fill level of DPF is 420%. I followed your instructions twice. Used the JML dpf cleaner that shops use around here. Didn't get any steam coming out of pipe?! Even changed the differential pressure sensor. Car drives ok for a while, then goes into limp mode. Same codes as yours come back. Is there a chance that dpf is not actually clogged but sensors that measure its condition are faulty? Or am I overthinking it?
I removed and changed the filter with a new filter and still have the same codes after clearing them
These dpf are more trouble than there worth.whats youre thoughts on low saps oil that is what is going in my Mondeo
Dpf is a simple reliable thing compared to Adblue system

Friend.. help me with this... mercedes c300h 2017. p246364 soot content dpf is not ok. impllausible signal exist. I have done 3 Dpf cleaning process and regenerations but always same DTC. Any help?
I have the same problem you mentioned.
If appears implausible signal check the sensor wires, connector and as las option the sensor is gone
Do you know you can get a headband for you phone to record the video whilst using 2 hands?
