    About IBS Treatment Center
    ===========================
    Dr. Stephen Wangen, co-founder and Medical Director of the IBS Treatment Center, and his staff have successfully helped over 10,000 people resolve irritable bowel syndrome and chronic digestive problems since 2005.
    Some patients have had IBS symptoms so severe that they spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital. Others are suffering alone at home and are no less frustrated with the impact that it is having on their lives. The thread that tied them all together was that they had never seen an IBS expert (much different than a gastroenterologist), a doctor whose only mission is to help people solve IBS.
    Patients work with us from around the country and the world via our telemedicine services. Get back your life! Work with us via telemedicine. Visit the IBS Specialists at ibstreatmentce...

      From what I've learned anxiety can have a lot to do with your gut health. Of course there's other factors as well, but from researching this endlessly due to my own health conditions, how you eat can play a HUGE role. If you think about it your body is a huge system that works together, so if you're not properly taking care & nourishing it things will for sure be out of wack. Like for example, if you're going through a very stressful situation, such as being bullied at work, how is your nervous system going to be able to handle it if it has to also deal with the junk that is in a lot of our foods. But I think it takes a certain balance that I'm still trying to learn myself, you don't want to become over stressed about your diet but being mindful can help. The tricky part for me is knowing what the best foods are to properly heal and nourish your body, but I think as long as your putting in the efforts it should somehow help.

    Valuable data. I had a similar experience as you had with gluten, but mine was with electrogalvanism. I don't even want to think about what my life would have been like if I could have lived it without the 40 years of low-key buzzing in my head. How did I know the buzzing/humming was there? A dentist had me look for it and then, when all the metal was removed from my teeth, I was free of it. So I know exactly what you mean when you say you don't know something is there until it is gone!

    Oftentimes rice affects me horribly. I'll have to see if white rice has gluten in it.

    • @IBSTreatmentCenter
      @IBSTreatmentCenter  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Rice does not have gluten in it, at least not a gluten that has anything to do with gluten intolerance. But sometimes you will see a type of gluten listed for rice. It has nothing to do with the type of gluten in wheat.

    I believe this to be true, meds can give you brain fog as well. Also having celiac disease can give you brain fog, especially if you’ been accidentally glutened.

  • @sneakypress
    @sneakypress ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very good video. One of the best we’ve seen on ‘brain-fog’. We also do not eat any gluten containing foods (almost 20 years), but occasionally still experience brain-fog. What do you think initially caused your inability to tolerate gluten-containing foods ??

    • @IBSTreatmentCenter
      @IBSTreatmentCenter  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. I'm glad you like it. At this point I can only assume that gluten intolerance is primarily genetic, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are other keys to it. But I'm pretty sure it's not due to a leaky gut or any of the more commonly suggested causes out there. I think that those are separate issues.

    • @kathym6603

      EMFs are highly suspect with brain fog. There is lots of information and techniques to keep safe from EMFs including meters. The variables in EMF exposure are degree, distance and duration. A bedroom free of EMF's is a good idea so you can spend the night calming the nervous system.

    I have had C. Diff for almost a year. Tested positive several times. Had many antibiotics and 2 Rebyota and one colonoscopy with FMT. Just because I haven’t had diarrhea in a little over two weeks the gastroenterologist says I have IBS now and I’m over my C. Diff. Refuses to test again for it. Totally dismisses me having brain fog, difficulty in concentrating and focusing, weakness, fatigue and tiredness. Tells me to drink mint tea for cramping and pain. I still smell C. Diff in my stool and today 5 days after that appointment with him I had watery diarrhea again. I go 2-3 times a day on average for the past 3 weeks. So most my symptoms is totally in my
    head according to my gastroenterologist. Do you have any advice? He was totally against us seeing an infectious disease doctor we we haven’t seen one.
    Any advice for someone in my situation?

      Amazing. I bet a lot of people wouldn't believe you, but we've heard so many stories similar to yours that sadly I'm not even surprised. Unfortunately, an infectious disease specialist is unlikely to be of any help. However, we'd be glad to work with you and based on what you've written there is a reasonable chance that we could help you. We certainly wouldn't be giving up now that you're at this stage. Please give us a call at 206-264-1111 from 9-5 Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. We work will people just about anywhere via telemedicine, so it's not a problem where you are.

    I had brain fog last year, I got so big my belly button popped out. Tummy rock hard !! . Told all to do with my age 49. !! Woman change in life. I also had trouble with my teeth and gums too. Sleeping. Alot gas,!! This got very bad. Size from 10 too 16 around my mind. My mum had celiac too. ? It runs in the family , down my mum's side. All women have some things. So any help please. As doc , won't test me. I'm very scared of what to eat. After the meal I take peppermint oil which helps, a little.

      @IBSTreatmentCenter  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Any health care provider who says a problem is due to age is a terrible health care provider. Do you have celiac? Even if you don't, there is a good chance that you still have a gluten sensitivity. We'd love to work with you.
