As you know, I use your 7-day rolling diary as a basis for my planner system. I have been very happy with it. I have thought about using a rolling month as I have used that before in a past work life, just not in a binder. It was part of the 43 folder system but I used 31 folders. It was not portable at all and stayed at the office. Since it had only work tasks, it was fine. I just decided against it in my binder for simplicity but I can see the value of having 30 days available.

Thanks for your feedback. I might well talk about these issues in a future podcast.
I’m familiar with the 43 folders system and, for a time, I tried organising my filing cabinet in this way, But I found, at least for me, that it wasn’t what I wanted.
I do have a slight dilemma, in that I try many systems, so it may sound as if I can never decide what I really want, but I find this whole “thing” fascinating. I am using my 7 day system, among others, but I’m trying this rolling 30 day system as part of my current EDC, at least for a while.
Good to hear from you, and thanks for the advice about fountain pens. I appreciate that.

Just ordered my leather A7 ring binder. Excited for the flexibility and ability to add and remove pages,
Currently using a passport size travellers notebook.

Sounds great! One one starts to enjoy being able to add or remove pages, it's very hard to go back to a bound notebook.

I like the idea of a small rings but always put off by the the fact they all have closures or zips.
