Thank you for this great lesson. I gave my Cricut Joy to my daughter which she uses for projects other than cards. Now I can use the Joy Cutaway Cards I have on hand.
Oh no ..... Looks like I am going to Wal-Mart after work tomorrow. Thank you !!!! I look at those cards all the time. Now I know I can use them I will get them.
I was wondering the same thing. I want to try using spray adhesive. (Repositionable). I have a can in my craft stuff. Just need some time to experiment. 😆
I am such a dumb ass. I used the card mat they have now for the maker and I did my cut on the card with the adhesive backing still on! I thought I was suppose to cut over top of it with the backing on and take the backing off at the end and place the metallic insert in. I realized I had messed something up badly when I was trying to remove the adhesive backing and it was about to rip my cut design.
WHEN I MOVE ITEMS TO A DIFFERENT MAT FROM ANOTHER ONE, BEFORE I MOVE IT, I POSITION IT WHERE I WANT TO MOVE IT ON THE NEXT NEXT MAT, Then continue with the move, and it moves to next mat exactly
The cutaway cards are a strange design. Why stick on the inside insert first and then risk cutting through it? That seems extra worrisome work. I would prefer it allows you to cut first and then stick.
Thank you for always thinking of everyone so if you do not have a joy can still use the product

Love this video! I love these cards.
I have learned alot
Why add backing to adhesive before cutting.?
So all the little pieces that are not connected (like the letters) will stick to the backing. So be careful you are weeding the right things.
I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't it be better to weed before sticking the pretty piece to it??
@@starrrozmiarek3322 then you would have to remove the adhesive cover from each little piece and hand place it. Kind of defeats the purpose.
This was an awesome video. Could you make your own size card and do it that way with the design or do you have to get those types of cards?

Where do you get 60% polyester shirts from?
