CARB-Certified Horsepower and Torque Increase. These BBK 1-5/8” Chrome Unequal Length Shorty Headers are the perfect upgrade to pair with an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system and cold air intakes. These headers feature an unequal length primary tube design and are engineered to improve exhaust scavenging and flow over the crimped factory manifolds. The result is a marked increase in horsepower with a significant improvement in low to midrange torque. The chrome finish will add a premium look under the hood while the non-restrictive design will give your pony a louder and more aggressive exhaust sound.
Superior Construction. In order to provide a non-restrictive exhaust flow, BBK utilized the tier-one 1-5/8” CNC mandrel bent steel tubing. Featuring a one piece laser cut header flange that prevents exhaust leaks, this will also ensure a precise and lasting fit. The headers are coated with a bright chrome finish for extra show car style.
Bolt-on Installation. The BBK 1-5/8” Chrome Unequal Length Shorty Headers are a direct bolt-on upgrade over the factory OEM headers in your 1986 to 1993 5.0-liter Mustang.
