Hi Tony, I believe those are the pair of Headman headers I sent you to port. Had I seen yours first I definitely would have bought yours over the Headman. Yours are way better quality than what I sent you and I bet they are a lot easier to install . I have buyers remorse for buying the Headman Headers :(

I sent him a set of 1 1/2 primary headers.. he got those to flow damn near what a set of 1 3/4 ls shorty headers did!
FACTS!
Show merge collector differences between the two
It's no comparison. The ported stainless steel shorty headers are far superior in every way including the merger at the collector. The quality is like night and day. Anyone that's gotten a set of our ported stainless steel shorty headers understand this
There is no need to worry about a reversion ridge if those stainless headers ports match there gasket size or even close to the whole port face will have a wall around it . Which in my experience and testing dont work well but does work better then no reversion wall or to small especially on a windsor exhaust port architecture. Area will make a number but that number dont make power unless that number .
See the thing most people assume is that we just do things with no testing or r and d. We've already confirmed what the ported headers can do which is support more power everywhere in the rpm range. Look at competition style 3 bolt long tube headers. They have no ridge at the collector. Look at sbc competition headers. They have no ridge yet they make power. All of our dyno tested customers cars makes power. We've made over 530hp with a 347 on a engine dyno using those exact headers. We like to keep it simple and effective.

Hello Tony B! question sir? Is there a reason guys use the shorty headers rather then the long tube headers? Is it for limited room to fits? I had BBK stainless shorties on my 85 gt 347 stroker. I have Long tube on my 67 Mustang gt big block. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Motown.
Yes. Ease of installation and fitment also tk retain the ability to use catalytic converters. Our ported stainless steel shorty headers flow and make power better than bbk long tubes

Yes Lamont told me about those heads that was sold to yoh and one being cracked. This is exactly why we tend to recommend full rebuilding and all the checks before we port.
@Bigdogs Porting Tony B yeah well I hope that the set I'm bringing tomorrow aren't as bad lol. At least the guy offered to buy them back,just disappointing
Yeah they were supposed to be freshly rebuilt but I guess they missed the Crack checking part!!
What type of stainless steel are your headers? Do they fit afr 185s with 72 Cc combustion chambers ?
304 and yes they will fit
Will these fit on gt40 heads? Will they interfere with plugs or can they be made to work?
They fit like a glove and even better with our custom gt40/gt40p head no burn spark plug wire sets
Hey Tony how do yours compare to the bassani 1 5/8 equal length shortys?
We have flow tested, just about all the fox body Mustang shorty headers from 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" and non of them out the box have flowed anything near our ported stainless steel headers we sell

Talking crap has been the in thing do do on the foxbody groups since day one.
True and most of the time it's from people with limited knowledge that really don't test and measure things.
We once saw on a page that someone said the bbk shorty non stainless steel header was better than our ported stainless steel shorty headers that we sell 😂😂
@Bigdogs Porting Tony B the foxbody group unfortunately seems to have the biggest group of shit talkers. Been like that since the early days of the forums.
