Surprised you haven't sprung for the Forge Motorsport intake kit, it's a great fitting product and really livens up the sound of the car. It does definitely take a couple of weeks for the car to learn the new airflow, might get a bit of sputtering at high rpm for the first few days of driving until the car learns but I never got a CEL.
I looked at it when I first got my GR Corolla but I don't really want a gloss twill CF look. It's also mainly a cover over the OEM air box which actually flows very well. I added the Velossa Tech Ram Intake and getting cold air into both intakes, which the Forge doesn't do seemed a lot better way to go. If I did swap out the intake I was looking at the SXTH Element intake since it cost less and looks better IMO.
When I got my Quickjack it was a game changer. I still have it since it's perfect for doing suspension and brake work. The lift makes things like this so much easier. You have a garage though so you need to get a Quickjack to make things easier!
Thanks! I'm lucky as they don't use salt around here. Even working on my 16 year old 2009 Turbo Corolla or my 89 MR2 hasn't been too bad. But of course, newer is always easier!
U spent almost 2 k on that gr u could of used that money for a new 25 model plus u voided the warranty plus all the check engine lights are gonna get now big mistake. The new ones are way better. They have more power better suspension everything‘s better on them. I can’t see putting money into one of the older ones plus she won’t get much power out of that down unless you do a full on tune, totally destroy that car Good videos tho
I guess you weren't paying attention to my channel or my build. I'm not a fan of the 2025 models front end and I like the look of my front end with the fog lights a lot more, and it would cost me a lot less money. I paid less than $40k for my fully loaded Core which I couldn't even get now. Even if I did like the 25 model more it would take so much work to remove most of my mods to reuse them on a 2025. I've never been the person that would trade up for subtle improvements on newer updates. From what has been said, the updates will make subtle improvements on the track more than anything. I stated that this was one of my mods that I wanted to do before getting a tune. I didn't want to have to get updates on the tune after every mod so I'm doing them before I get a tune. You can't see putting money into an earlier model but just buying a new one would cost more than mine will when I'm done and mine will be much quicker with more power. The increased OEM torque is simple a tune bumping the torque. Thanks for appreciating the work I put into making the video.

Amazing work! I think this is the first time I’ve seen this done without disconnecting the drive shaft.
Thanks! I appreciate it. That and I didn't remove any of the heat shield around the drive shaft either!
Great video again! I'm also reminded of when the dream of having a lift or quick jacks will be fulfilled, because that looked like a breeze! Haha!

i got to know man, has it given you CEL or any dash lights? been thinking about getting the otl turbo back
No CEL of any kind. I've not heard of the downpipe ever causing CEL.
Excellent video, sure is nice with a clean car for these sort of things lol. How's the RacerX pitch mount holding up for you?

Forgot to point out that the Racer X pitch mount has been fantastic. I love it and he makes a lot of other fantastic products that I've installed too!

You’re an idiot. I’m running full bolt ons with a tune since 5k miles. I’m pushing 30 thousand miles now. No issues. No complaints
