Let's go, imo this is a underrated film. Congratulations on the Masters you will smash it out in Spain. Just promise to keep the reactions coming they get me through my bad times atm.
I like how all of Batman’s nightmares start and end with the sound of the kryptonian’s world engine from man of steel. Those sounds from that day haunt him as well as motivate him.
You need to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League next.

The scene when he visits his mothers tomb is a nightmare sequence so as in dreams it happened on slo mo as it should
So this Batman has been in action for quite some time. He’s older, more aggressive, lost a lot including Robins, he’s a bit unhinged, even his theme is chaotic. seeing the sacrifice of Superman reminds what it means to be a hero. As well as WW. Mankind is flawed but you do what must be done regardless.
The love for ones mother or wife is very powerful. I mean, look what it did to Anakyn Skywalker. This is the main reason why SpecOps, law enforcement, etc hide their identities.

All of the horses in this film is a reference of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (War, Famine, Pestilence, & Death) from the New Testament bible.

This is one of my favorite films. The Snyder set should come in a box set. Man of steel, BVS, Wonder Woman and Justice league.
After you see Justice league (Zack Snyder’s), you will understand Bruce’s weird dream half way through BVS.

" why is he still in the building" On 9/11, many people died because they were confused on what was happening and believed being inside the building was safer than going outside. No one knew the nature of the attacks and if bombs were planted outside, or a building would fall. That and many people were told to stay put on a loud speaker, especially after the first building was hit and fell. So, when we see that in MOS and BvS, it makes sense that people waited until the last minute to leave, or even froze up and decided they were too afraid of what was out there, so they stayed.

this movie has LOADS of hidden meanings. For one, every time a horse appears on screen, it means someone is about to die. Also, Lex's accusation, "If God is all good, then he can't be all powerful..." etc. is called Euthyphro's dilemma in Greek philosophy. The choice of Batman using a spear to kill Superman is borrowed from the Bible when a Roman soldier used a spear to pierce Jesus' side on the cross (comparing Superman to Jesus, which happens a lot in this movie). Luthor's t-shirt with a monkey triggering a bomb is a famous artwork which is an illustration to say "he's in over his head," so in the same way a monkey doesn't know the consequences of playing with TNT, so also Lex doesn't understand the consequences of awakening aliens like Steppenwolf from the hologram in the Kryptonian ship (leading into ZSJL, and ultimately an apocalyptic future). Superman's \S/ crest was redesigned in this movie to have Kryptonian writing that translates a famous Joseph Campbell quote, "where we had thought to travel outward, we shall have come to the center of our existence. Where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world," which parallels how Batman, Diana, and the world rally to support Superman after his death. There's so much to dissect from this movie, it's like a bottomless pit of fun easter eggs lol.
I hate the character but I love Jessie Esinberg's performance.
