I never udnerstand why people think superhero fights are way too aggressive and cause too much chaos and damage when humans literlaly level out cities with their war. They are stronger than us, of course there will be damage and destruction, that's how fighting is.
my thoughts are that a lot of these superhero fights center around personal vendettas. Superman, for example, is the main antagonist to Zod so luring him out of the city would not have been difficult.
Yep. Avoiding harming innocents is virtually impossible in real life conventional warfare. What on earth makes people think superhero war is going to be any different. Especially in this movie with its central premise of Clark learning to use the powers he has been told all his life to fear and hide from the world.
interesting easter egg, earlier in this movie you can see Martha wear a Sears badge, implying she used to work there. But since the Sears store in Smallville got destroyed by Superman's fight with Faora, Martha has to find a new job and she works at a diner in the sequel, Batman V Superman. Which is to say that EVERY action Superman takes has an effect on everybody's lives, even his own mother. But Martha never brings it up as an issue in either of the movies, which speaks to the kind nature of Martha as a mother overall. It's details like these that make Snyder's movies so rich with layers.
Yes, there was a ton of destruction and some fans didn't like that. But it is a realistic (or at least as realistic as a movie about flying aliens can be) take on how much destruction would occur if you had people with Superman's abilities and invulnerability were actually fighting. Our cars and buildings wouldn't stand a chance. By the way, loved your reaction and can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of Zack Snyder's DC films!
I totally understand why people have issues with the final fight causing so much destruction and bystander casualties, which is why I love BvS so much since the entire point of it is dealing with the consequences of Superman's actions in Metropolis.
Ashna, Kal-el on fire but pants not burning: they do make fire resistant clothing including jeans which I'm guessing it's what Clark is wearing at the beginning there
Yeah i found you starting my favourite movies, im joining your journey to see you react all movies to end on zack snider masterpiece justice league 😁 nice to meet you
My "problem" with Superman has always been his ability to fly. To this day (I'm a 60-year-old man), it makes no sense to me that he can change direction, hover, lift/move other airborne objects, etc.. My understanding is that he somehow manipulates how Earth's gravity affects him -- which I still can't wrap my head around. But this is a very good movie and your passionate reaction was quite enjoyable. I'm about to watch you react to BvS next. 🤗😉
I didn't think people like you still existed. There was a guy who wrote a book called Seduction of the Innocent in the 50s, which caused a huge comic book burning and one of the questions he pushed forward was how can he change direction and lift objects while he's flying.
You can buy that he’s an alien from another planet who looks exactly like a human and has super strength, super speed, x-ray vision… so on and so forth. But the idea that this person can fly… now that’s just ridiculous.
Tactile telekinesis, it been in the comics as an explanation for a while now. Also, they show this in Zac Snyder's movies, with the dirt around Clark's hand.
I really liked the first part of the movie, seeing him go from job to job, town to town, helping people and then moving on, I found that really interesting. I think that would be a great movie, this man with so much power trying to hide but also help in these small towns. But then it turned into a big city CGI slug fest and it completely lost me. Wasted opportunity.
@@kerry-j4m Basically yeah, there is a reason it lasted 5 seasons and was a worldwide hit. It's a simple premise, but it works. Hero saves the day, moves on. Like The Littlest Hobo. 🙂
a) his chest hair wouldnt burn bc hes not human; b) hes shirtless bc Zac Snyder wanted folks to see that the suit isnt padded, that its all Henry.

Zack showed how destructive it will be if aliens invasion comes to earth but I guess people wanna live in delusion hence people don't like the truth

Best Superman movie ever
That main theme is killer. Hans Zimmer is a genius.
'I WILL FIND HIM'🔥🔥🔥

Great review! Snyder’s trilogy beginning with Man of Steel are the greatest comic book films I’ve seen.
AGREED.Snyder catches &&&& from some fans for these-GREAT-films.Saying that,I hope he continues to make more films.
Same here.
I like your reaction! :)
"Put your son back in the water"
Hahahaha... You're not wrong.
8:19 I will find him!
That's funny. LOL.
I'm not sure but it seemed like you didn't realize that Joe was Superman in disguise, at 16:40..
His parents might have gone with him but they ran out of time and didn't have the ship sized for 2 more full sized adults.
Yeah but… Jor could’ve transferred Lara’s consciousness into a thumb drive too, like he did his own.
@@zimvader25 It's not "immortality" it's just data

Hope your doing well. Great movie.
Great review!
I guess she never read superman comic books before.
She did say she didn't like superman when she was younger
It's a war, but what did you want?)
I may be simping a bit but you’re reallyyy cute !🥰

Gotta watch WONDER WOMAN after Batman vs Superman... You'll love it.
I'm not sure what's wrong with th 4k version but this film has ALOT of color

Why would his chest hair burn off when its part of his body and hes literally the man of steel. He doesn't bleed easily
Why the hell u just .doesn't stop talking while movie is running..just watch..
I guessing you don’t know how reaction videos on TH-cam work lil bro
Henry Cavill was great as Superman he just had the worst director to deal with. Steven Spielberg would've been better than Zack Snyder.
Zack did fine. it was and still is WB being the fuck ups.. they've been screwing up most of thier biggest projects for at least 20 years now.
Rubbish superman movie
No it isn't, I still prefer Reeve, but this is a good film.

Cavill looked good but can’t act, and isn’t believeble Superman, certainly compared to Chris Reeve and Tom Welling
