21:33 - What is happening during this brief moment is that Wade's feeling his avatar being touched. The haptic suit (as well as the gloves) simulates the sensation of feeling. So, for example, if your avatar get's shot, you feel the impact (not deadly, but you'd feel like a hard punching sensation to convey the hit). But it also simulates being touched by other avatars. Essentially, Arty touching his avatar is translating to him. Essentially, haptics not only can be used for battle, but can also be used for... well... more adult related actives. Essentially, Arty is flirting with him.
Seeing someone who doesn't know the Delorean is so crazy and also kinda awesome haha :D "That's..nice car.. I think we're impressed right?" ^_^
I liked how she kept talking about go faster and I got to thinking if it is THE Delorean it can only go 87 mph otherwise he is whisked to another time.
Even though this isn’t your type of movie I’m so glad you gave it a chance!! Loved your reaction! This movie, in addition to being an adaptation of a book, is definitely a love letter to fans for pop culture over the years.

Oh dear... you have no idea either... at 22:57 ... Zemecki's "Magic Cube"... which specifically "turns back" time by 60 seconds... the three tones "Diii ...daaaa ... deeeeeeeeeeh" are the first notes of the motif/theme from "Back to the Future", where the DeLorean (Parzival's racing car) also comes from!
Also from "Back to the Future": some election posters from Hill Valley on the wall as Parzival tries on the costumes for the date.

Spielberg directed Jurrasic Park that is why there was a dinosaur in the race.
Wow. I would never have expected your conclusion at the end. You seemed really hooked the whole movie through. Also it's clear you've seen many movies and it's great to see people who can connect to those various situations with other movie references. Like Hallidays room reminding you of shutter island, i could actually follow that. Though it's great that you had fun watching the movie and being honest about your own attitude. Fair is fair. If we all had the same taste, the world would be boring as hell ^^. So well done.
You mentioned how to T-Rex was way out of place in the race. This is part of what the movie is all about. Little gems of nostalgia like the T-Rex being from Jurassic Park. According to Google, there are 138 different Easter eggs throughout the movie. Id say its next to impossible to catch them all unless you seen the list and checked them off as you saw them.
You should read the book, His obsesion with her becomes more understandable.

If you haven't read the book then you should. Or at least get the audiobook version narrated by Wil Wheaton. The book (even audiobook) is significantly better.
The book is different. It's a good read, but the challenges in the book would not translate well to a movie.
