Just a reminder to properly test before re installation, did this in my 2006 1.8 focus, fan speeds 1 and 2 worked as normal again, was about to screw it back in and thought it felt a bit hot. So I decided to idle the car for a couple minutes and with the blowers on 2 and the resistor pack started smoking loads and is covered in scorch marks :/

Excellent video. Really helpful. Nice touch at the end. Yeo I got it from there.

Is this a right hand or left hand drive vehicle?

I've got the left hand drive and the location is the same.
Its only way way harder because of the pedals that are in the way..

You seemed to miss the key part of actually removing it. Is it screwed in? Clipped? Held by the wiring?

@@redsaxmaxThe resistor is held in by two torx screws (same size as the glove box). You'll need an extension on your screwdriver as it's a bitch to get the angle. Be sure to undo the final few turns by hand so you don't drop the screws down the back! Replaced mine this week, it was rusted to hell!
