Here’s a rundown of the aftermarket modes and accessories that I have installed on my 2023 CFMOTO 450SS sportbike.
First accessory is the CFMOTO USB Power Port adapter. The bike comes prewired for this port, so you just have to remove the blank plate and install the USB Power plate to get USB power.
For my windscreen, I bought a different design that’s slightly larger and I wrapped it in VViViD Hex tint. Turned out great and looks sweet on the bike.
I wasn’t happy with the overall design of the OEM seat, so I found a custom, aftermarket seat for my CFMOTO 450SS on AliExpress. It’s a lot better than factory.
My tank pad is a Puig brand that I purchased from RevZilla.com
A great design change is the fender eliminator that I installed on my CFMOTO 450SS. It really cleans up the look of the bike. I installed sequential LED turn signals too.
Exhausts are hard to find right now for the CFMOTO 450SS. The KO Lightning seems to be the best upgrade choice for right now. I’m super happy with the design and sound of mine.
Last mods are the swing arm spools and valve step caps.

Hey rob you should seriously look at vandemon twin exhaust under the seat , I have it on my own CFmoto 450sr it’s purely fantastic, I’m from Australia Western Australia the exhaust is also from Australia made of titanium, stainless, carbon fibre heat guards , I guarantee you , you will not be disappointed

Also, at 3:00 there's a strip on the black lining below the gast tank, what is that? Looks like it has dots inside of it
It's a StompGrip pad. I don't really like the looks of it, so I have something else on order and will replace it soon. It does help protect the panel and gives a good grip, but it just looks bad to me.

So I did the tank pad, tail tidy should be in any day now. Spools should be coming any day also. I just installed the front carbon fiber wing that goes under the front winglets. Looks awesome.
Changed oil to Amsoil 10w40 metric motorcycle oil
I already have the slip on SC Project exhaust. Sounds like a R7 or Ducati

Yeah literally only have tank pad and tinted touring screen on my R7... Those alone should add at least +15 hp at the wheel! Other than that keeping the R7 clean of mods and enjoying it 99% stock.

If you install spools on, just about any sport bike stand should work.
can those turn signals also fit in a 450 nk ?
In the rear? I don't see why not. They are universal and I believe the SS and NK have the same design there. Check with your dealer to be sure.
Is the dealer support where you bought it pretty good? I'm sure there are some accessories that have to be bought from the dealer like a solo passenger seat cover.....spools etc. Do the oil filters cross over from Honda,Kawasaki and Yamaha?
I recommend Karn's Performance as a supportive dealer.

What are the side grips on the black part below the tank?
They are Stomp Grips, but i replaced them because they were ugly.
You should try to lower your handlebars, for my opinion it makes you more aggressive because the handlebars same level to your set.
I'm tall and the height is comfortable for me.

Yes, it's larger. It actually made the bike handle on the highway better to. I was surprised.
Any idea why my rear break squeaks when coming to a stop? I have the same bike
Could be something simple, like dust in your brake calipers. How many miles are on it? You might want to try spraying the calipers with brake cleaner to see if it clears up. Good idea to get it to a dealer if you are concerned.
@@ROBSOLUTELY just got about 570 miles on it it stopped squeaking as much after I cleaned most of my chain. Prlly gonna service her at 630 miles
would the turns signals be easy to install on the original fender?
Yes, you would have to remove the original fender, like I did in this video, so that you can pull the original wires out, then remove the signals and install the new ones. Then reinstall the fender.

Not sure if the 450SR is different from the 450SS in the USA? Check with your dealer to be sure of the size.

Idk how much my weight effects what I should have mine at compared to others
@@justin.o975 I would say 30 or 31. For me, I get a bounce if the pressure is over 30, so I keep it around 29. I messed around with the pressure until I got what felt right. I'll be switching to my Michelin Road 6 tires for next year. I've had them sitting, just never installed them. Stock CST tires have been decent.

Anywhere from a week to a month. Typically, most things come in 2 weeks. I have not had any issues ordering from AliExpress.

Nothing available as of now that I know of, but why would it be needed?

what tank/side grips did you get? my legs rub the sides.. and I slide forward under hard braking
I had stomp grips, which worked well, but were ugly. I just replaced them with a fake carbon fiber set off AliExpress. I'll do an updated video on them soon.
If you had $100 which mod would you do first ? Seat or exhaust?

The seat for comfort, the exhaust for sound... but then again, there may be some name brand exhausts coming out in the future, so it might be good to hold off until then. Up to you really. The seat is really nice. I think if I had to give either up them up right now, I would keep the seat.

@@bondarchuk84bro what, you want to seem like you're riding a bigger bike than you actually are or what? This is a light sport bike, ride with the recommended tires from the manufacturers, get better then get a bike with wider tires out the gate.

Yes, they can be removed. I have taken off some of mine. They are just stickers.
